World Cup Betting Tips Today: Predictions & Best Bets for June 19th

Day nine at the 2026 World Cup sees Brazil return to the action looking to bounce back from their draw with Morocco. Scotland will take on the Atlas Lions hoping to guarantee qualification, while co-hosts USA will want to repeat their performance against the Socceroos. Elsewhere, can either Turkiye or Paraguay bounce back from disappointing defeats?

Our World Cup tipster Nathan Joyes has shared his analysis on all four matches as well as provided his best World Cup tips.

Brazil vs Haiti

Brazil received plenty of backlash for their performance against Morocco and so there's work to do in order to qualify for the knockouts. There shouldn't be too many issues for Carlo Ancelotti's side with Haiti up next, but what he can achieve at this World Cup doesn't look promising. That's not based on their 90 minutes so far, but also on what they have since the Italian walked through the door.

The Italian head coach has made it clear to the media he'll be looking to shake things up in round two, although Neymar is still not 100% and will miss out once more. However, there may be room for the likes of Danilo Santos, Rayan and Endrick who all carry a goalscoring threat.

Haiti caused Scotland issues - and although it is high unlikely they will beat Brazil - it would be foolish to rule them out not having a moment or two in front of goal. Still, Brazil must win this convincingly to keep supporters happy - but as this World Cup continues to prove, it might not be a game to get out of hand.

Therefore, I'm sticking up Brazil to win and under 4.5 goals at 8/13 with BetMGM.

Scotland vs Morocco

Scotland are almost through to the knockout stage after narrowly beating Haiti 1-0 but now face a trickier task against the 2022 semi-finalists. Still, Scotland sit top of Group C and not many would have predicted that with two giants in behind, and now it's up to Steve Clarke to rally his troops once more. However, they did look tired in the second 45 minutes we they adjust to the demands of the weather but also the World Cup.

Morocco, on the other hand, made an explosive start against Brazil and were rewarded inside 20 minutes. If they sustain that kind of pressure against the Scots, the Atlas Lions may head into half-time with the lead. Morocco pressed Brazil from the first whistle and showed they had the players in the final third capable of cutting defences apart.

And although Brazil were all at sea, Scotland may be the next nation to struggle against Morocco's relentless press. The African nation are eyeing up top spot and the Scots could be taught a lesson against a side looking to have a deep run in the tournament.

My main tip is Morocco to win at 3/4 with BetMGM.

Turkiye vs Paraguay

Both Turkiye and Paraguay disappointed in round one. Turkiye, despite dominating the ball, were caught out on the counter twice vs Australia, while Paraguay were pumped by Mauricio Pochettino's USA. So what happens next? Paraguay, despite getting hammered, still got on the scoresheet. Palmeiras' Mauricio finished off a fine move assisted by Julio Enciso. Throw in Miguel Almiron and Paraguay have the players capable of replicating Australia's success on the transition.

But will Turkiye draw another blank? Paraguay's defence was slow and unaware of USA's tactics that allowed players to interchange. Turkiye also have the calibre of players that can cause problems in the final third, and against a nation that won't just sit back and defend, they may have more joy than they did in round one.

Two defences with questions to answer clash in what is a really key match, but with a vast amount of attacking quality on the pitch, this game looks as though it will open right up and goals could be the best play.

My main tip is to back BTTS Yes at 1/1 with BetMGM.

USA vs Australia

USA could not have started better. Not only did they put four past Paraguay, their performance was one of the best in this competition from the opening round. The front line was exceptional, and they completely caught Paraguay out with their direct and ruthless play in the final third. Australia will look to defend resiliently once more, as they did against Australia, but this is going to be a much sterner test for the Socceroos.

Australia were happy to sit back and invite pressure from Turkiye, but the Europeans failed to carve out any meaningful opportunities - the complete opposite to what Mauricio Pochettino's side did in their opener. With a home crowd behind them once more, expectations have gone up a notch and they are completely justified.

Expect the Socceroos to defend for their lives but if the US are in the same mood as they were against Paraguay, there's only going to be one winner - and the US can almost claim top spot and progress to the knockout stage in style.

Therefore, my main tip is USA to win at 8/13 BetMGM.
