Rise of Olympus is just one of the Play ‘n GO slots games UK players can access at an online casino. You can read our Reactoonz review for another great example of a Play 'n GO slot. But not every operator offers a great gaming experience, so we go to great lengths to find the top five casino brands for every game we review.
Try some Rise of Olympus free play spins to get a feel for gameplay, compare it by trying out the Sophie demo and then check whether you can use your bonus award to play Rise of Olympus free slots to spin up real cash prizes.
Rise of Olympus plays out using identical game mechanics to the game found in our Moon Princess review, with reel modifiers, a choice of free spin bonus rounds and increasing multipliers.
Zeus, Poseidon and Hades are the main game characters, with lower-value symbols represented by helmets, harps, tridents and lightning bolts. Pegasus, the flying horse, is the game’s Wild symbol and offers the highest payouts too. There’s no Scatter, but it’s still possible to activate free spins by completely clearing the reels of symbols.
There are no fixed paylines in Rise of Olympus, so all you need to do is match three or more symbols vertically or horizontally to win a cash prize – unless you’re playing the Rise of Olympus demo version, of course! Spinning the reels with real cash will cost from 20p to £100 per spin, so every player can find their own sweet spot.

With no paylines in this game, your objective is to match three, four or five symbols either vertically or horizontally across the grid. Wins are paid as multiples of your total stake, as follows:
Winning symbols disappear from the reels, leaving a single Wild behind. All remaining game symbols drop down, which could create new winning combinations. Every win in a sequence adds x1 to the multiplier, resetting at the start of the next spin.
Any non-winning spin could trigger the Hand of God Bonus feature. Each God takes it in turns to stand alongside the reels, randomly activating their own reel modifier to help you win prizes.
Fill the meter to the lower left of the screen to trigger the Wrath of Olympus Bonus. This is done by landing God symbols in winning combinations in a sequence. When full, the meter grants one free spin with each of the Hand of God features played out one by one.
Clear the entire grid of symbols to activate the Free Spins round, in which you get to choose your bonus. The more spins you select, the lower the risk, so you can tailor this round to your playing style.
Your chosen feature round awards the relevant Hand of God Bonus to non-winning spins for extra winning potential. And the multiplier doesn’t reset throughout the feature, so it could potentially increase to the maximum 20x. Charge up the meter to win additional Free Spins, with up to 20 available. And if you manage to clear the entire grid of symbols, you’ll win an extra 200x your stake!
Greek gods and their possessions are created in rich detail, with movie-style animations whenever the gods start awarding their reel modifiers. Anyone who has read our Age of the Gods review will know that gods aren't new to slot gaming, but it's well presented here. An epic soundtrack adds plenty of extra atmosphere, and the game thunders along at a great pace, which is why it’s so important to test out some Rise of Olympus free play spins to begin with.
The Rise of Olympus slot RTP comes in at 96%, which is bang on the industry average. But Rise of Olympus RTP, or Spartacus slot RTP, the only thing this statistic tells you for sure is the house edge, which in this case is 4%.
The volatility of this game is very high though, which means very few players will land the big payouts – and you might have to spin the reels for a long time before triggering a winning streak. We strongly recommend exploring as many Rise of Olympus free play spins as possible, before wagering any of your own bankroll. You can’t keep your winnings from playing the Rise of Olympus demo, but your gaming session won’t eat into your own cash either, so it’ll remain intact, even if the reels don’t spin in your favour.
Play ‘n GO are committed to providing slots fans with the games they love, so they make sure they make them fully compatible across all devices. You can play Rise of Olympus on PC, laptop, tablet or mobile, whichever you prefer.
Fans of Moon Princess will definitely want to try their luck at the reels of Rise of Olympus. It’s essentially exactly the same game, only with a more masculine aesthetic – and games themed around Ancient Greece always seem to go down well with slots fans. Just be wary of that high volatility and make sure you test your luck – and your bankroll – with plenty of demo spins to start with.
