I hope you are all doing well and backing plenty of winners. Iāve had a look at tomorrowās racing and decided that Ascot is the place to be. Thereās some really decent action happening there and I have some nice selections you might want to take advantage of.
I am hoping to start posting my winning picks here on Betting.co.uk on a daily basis. Iām still working towards a firm timetable at the moment, but they should be running from Tuesday to Saturday each week in the very near future. However, do bear in mind that weather and/or lack of any decent racing could mean the odd day might get missed out.
In the meantime, you can follow me on a number of different social media channels, where I give my supporters free bets, tipping leagues with racehorse shares as prizes and much more. All you have to do is click on the links youāll see right at the bottom of this page and subscribe.
It always pays in the punting game to have several bookie accounts and to keep checking out the deals for any you havenāt already claimed. On that note, start by taking a look at the deal BetVictor are currently offering, which is Bet Ā£5 and Get Ā£30 in Free Bets. Itās quick and easy to sign up and free bets are always handy to have!
My first selection comes in Ascotās opener, where Yaanaas stands out as being particularly well-handicapped, based on his two winning runs at Newcastle and Kempton. Not to mention the potential he has for even more improvement.
His breeding features multiple Group 1 winners and heās highly likely to keep that trend going, having won both of his first two races in particularly good fashion. This stiffer test is likely to suit him well and I give him a huge shout here on his Handicap debut.
Maximum Impact was seriously impressive on his debut, achieving a wide margin victory on heavy going. Even though the ground will be very different here, he moved like a very smart horse and should come on plenty for the return to better terrain.
According to his trainer Alice Haynes, a tilt at Royal Ascot is not out of the question, but getting through tomorrowās race will be mission number one. His sire, Havana Grey, was pretty effective on this surface, so Iām convinced Maximum Impact is the one to beat here.
It will be hard to find a better-bred filly than Dancing Goddess and she has already shown clear signs of her quality based on what weāve seen in her two previous runs at Kempton. She looked absolutely top class winning first time out and then ran a huge race behind Running Lion last time to confirm her promise.
I canāt imagine other than that she is going to improve again and with the deadly combination of Buick and Appleby in the mix, Iāll be very surprised if any other runner in this race is even close to good enough to take her on.
This Commonwealth Cup Trial looks set to be an absolute belter on paper if they all turn up in tip top form, but I feel a few of them may need the run. Bradsell will have an obvious chance, but I think his 270-day layoff, may find him wanting this time around.
However, I think the ground works out perfectly for Mischief Magic who runs for the Godolphin team. He won the Breedersā Cup Juvenile Turf in Keeneland, splitting up horses to make his own gap and won very stylishly at the line. I think he is the most likely to be ready to go first time out for this season and I give him the clear edge here.
Chindit has always been one of my favourite Flat horses and even though he hasnāt totally fulfilled his early promise, he is very honest and you always know exactly where you stand with him, particularly on his first outing of the season.
He has an excellent record when going fresh and as the odds-on favourite running for Willie Haggas may need the run this time, Chindit could well be the answer. He will turn up fully fit and ready to go at a track where he has already had a Group 2 victory. In fact, he has a 50% strike rate at Ascot and is definitely worth a chance here.
Itās always worth checking out the great bookie deals and offers youāll find here at Betting.co.uk. There are new bookie bonuses being added all the time, so next time youāre seeking more free bets, this is the place to look!
