Golf Betting Tips for The RBC Heritage

Welcome back to my weekly golf betting tips page

I hope you're all doing well and that you enjoyed the Masters last week. It really was quite the tournament. First, a quick recap of my selections from last week. We laid out 5pts and made a small profit of 8.25pts, which puts us at a very healthy 418.25pts up for the season overall.

Next week will be really exciting, as we will have three big golfing events to look at. I’ll be playing cross doubles and trebles in the hope of landing us another jackpot-style win!

The RBC Heritage

But, without further ado, let’s get on to the selections. This week I’m looking at the RBC Heritage and I have four straight selections for you. I have tried to stay away from the guys at the top of the market here so these players are available at some very healthy prices.

#1 Billy Horschel @ 150/1 (8 places)

Billy Horschel is my first selection of the week and is currently sat in the world number 24 slot. He made an encouraging start at the Masters last week and made the cut, but struggled a little bit over the weekend; understandably so with the rough weather that came in. In fact, it invariably seemed to come down hard at the wrong times for Billy, but he should find things easier this week.

Personally, I think Billy Horschel should be half the price he is here and I expect a good performance from him this week. Last year, he finished T21 just five shots off the lead and this track really seems to suit his game well. With eight places available, 150/1 is just too big to ignore.

#2 Lucas Herbert @ 200/1 (8 places)

Lucas Herbert has rapidly become one of my favourite golfers in the world, he is incredibly exciting to watch and I think he can add another PGA title to his name this week. He won twice on the European Tour, first in the Dubai Desert Omega Classic and then following up in the Irish Open, where he won in spectacular fashion.

He may have missed a few cuts coming into this tournament, but he is absolutely capable of better and Lucas Herbert is another player who is way too big at 200/1 to my way of thinking. He is currently world number 57, so he missed out on getting a Masters invite, but that is actually a good thing, as it means he comes here fresh and ready to go. I think he could be the surprise package in this field.

#3 Tommy Fleetwood @ 55/1 (8places)

Tommy Fleetwood is a player I’ve already put up twice this year and who has yet to deliver the goods.  However, I’m convinced it’s going to be third time lucky, as he truly looks as though he’s ready to put it all together this time around. He finished just two shots off the leaders in this event last year and is particularly well suited to this track.

He's having a great year so far and managed to finish 33rd in the Masters last week, despite getting the bad side of the draw where the weather was concerned. In fact, he played four very solid rounds, so I think you can give him more credit than his scores suggest. I believe that Tommy Fleetwood is a class act and is going to be back in the winner’s enclosure soon. He isn’t far off playing his best golf, so I’m going to keep the faith.

#4 Tom Hoge @ 80/1 (8 places)

Tom Hoge missed the cut at last week’s Masters, but it really isn’t a track that suits him too well at all. He will be much more within his comfort zone here and has an excellent record on the PGA Tour.

He finished third at the Players, third in the Sentry and fourth in the Shriners Open, results that have pushed him up through the world rankings to spot number 26. Tome Hoge always plays a solid game from tee to green and he’s the model of consistency, making him a great bet at a huge price.
