Racing fans, welcome back to my column here on betting.co.uk. For this Thursday's racing action at Worcester, I have five selections that could offer promising returns. Our primary focus for the day is on Worcester, with my most cautious bet in the first race, while my NAP selection comes in the Handicap Hurdle. The horse I have in mind for the Handicap Hurdle has won twice consecutively and I am eyeing a third win this Thursday.
While the weekend doesn't offer any jump races, I'll be sharing a comprehensive guide for this year's King George Stakes at Ascot. Even though I generally favor jump races, I'm excited about the King George Stakes and I am looking forward to helping you narrow down your choices.
Now, let's talk about the deal for this Thursday's Worcester race. Ladbrokes is providing an offer - bet just £5 and you'll get £20 in Free Bets. If you're already a Ladbrokes customer, don't worry, we have over £250 of Free Bets for you to utilize on our site. Now, let's delve into the selections!
In the Worcester opener, my cautious pick is JET SMART from David Pipe's stable. This 5-year-old horse improved on his hurdles form to finish runner up on his chase debut over a mile shorter on his first start of the season, post wind surgery. I believe he has the potential to show further improvement, especially under the capable guidance of jockey Jack Tudor. Despite needing to progress, JET SMART displays promising ability over fences and is worth small stakes on this occasion at the current prices.
For the 2m7f Handicap Chase, my money is on BAGHEERA GINGE. I've long believed this horse would thrive at this distance and, given his good performance at 2m4f, he seems to be in great shape for this race. BAGHEERA GINGE has won on soft ground before and ticks more boxes than most in this race.
The 2m Handicap Hurdle is tricky, with several inconsistent horses in the mix. However, I think ALIOSKI could have the edge here. This horse has demonstrated good form on the all-weather and is well-handicapped with a 10lb claimer on board.
Despite usually avoiding backing maidens, I'm placing a bet on STAR LEGEND in the 16:00 at Worcester. He showed promise on his debut at Uttoxeter and has potential to improve on that performance. The addition of a hood could help him remain more focused and potentially boost his performance.
Finally, my NAP of the day is NADIM. This horse from the Milton Harris team has won the last two races for me and my followers, and I believe he can do it again, despite facing a penalty this time. NADIM seems to be on an upward curve and could prove hard to beat once more.
Thank you for reading my daily tips. Hopefully, these picks will help you enjoy some profit from Thursday's action. Remember to come back tomorrow for more of the best bets!
