You may have to wait until the evening to see my selections run, but I can promise you it’s totally worth the wait with such a great card of Jumps racing taking place at Aintree tomorrow.
I have three selections for the Aintree card, which I’m hoping will bring us some nice profit in readiness for the weekend racing action. On that note, I will be doing a weekend preview for you tomorrow, over on my YouTube channel, where I will give you my very best picks across the weekend so stay tuned and check out my social media links at the bottom of the page!
It’s nearly Friday and you deserve some free bets to use over a great weekend of racing. So, what I’ve done for you is to put up my two favourite sign up offers to help the cause.
My first special offer for today comes from BetUK, where you can get £30 in free bets, when you bet just £10. I think that’s a fantastic opportunity, even if I say so myself!
I think Captain Tom Cat will be hard to beat here on good going. He has always performed better on faster ground and has a Grade 2 win to his name from two seasons ago to prove that fact. A return to anywhere near that form will make him tough to beat.
He didn’t have the best season last year, but that being said, he did show a return to form on his penultimate start at Plumpton on soft ground, which wouldn’t have been in his favour. He was also travelling really well before unseating at Cheltenham last month, where he was fancied and gambled quite strongly close to the off.
Sam Twiston-Davies is booked for the ride, having already won on this lad on more than one occasion. Interestingly, Sam has just two rides booked at Aintree tomorrow and this would suggest that the team at home think they have Captain Tom Cat back to his best and if that's the case, then he’s got a big chance here.
It must be said that Kinondo Kwetu has been a revelation for trainer Sam England, having managed to win five on the bounce at the beginning of the season, including a very stylish course and distance win here in October.
That form alone puts him bang there for this event, but he has since run an even better race, when finishing third in the Grade 3 here on Grand National day, so he has to be a huge threat to all of his rivals here and he is my NAP of the day. Not only does his form stack up, but he runs off the same mark as he did last time out and the ground is much more in his favour.
A trend I like to follow with horses is to back them on their second start after a wind operation, as this usually brings out a bit more improvement in these types and if that is the case here, I really do only see one winner. His stamina will need to be on point, but the England yard won’t leave anything to chance with this lad being one of the stars of the stable.
My second bookie bonus for today is a Bet £5 and get £30 in Free Bets offer which comes courtesy of BetVictor.
Things haven’t always gone quite right for Trapista since she was sent Chasing, but we know she’s a classy type based on her early form and reverting back to Hurdles today could just see her fully effective again.
Her mark has dropped significantly, which if returning to form, would make her a standout bet here, despite the risks attached from her Chase form. The trip is much more like it for her and the ground is right up her street, so it is more than possible that she can return to her best form.
She was given a fairly heavy campaign last season but the fact she has been given some time to freshen up bodes well for JP’s runner. There are some decent mares in this race, but I’m willing to give her a chance back over Hurdles but this will be the last chance she gets to prove me right.
So, there you have it. My best three bets for Aintree on Friday, before a glorious weekend of racing action. I have a bunch of selections lined up for Saturday, so keep checking in here at betting.co.uk for those and of course to take a look at all of the big bookie bonuses up for grabs.
