Welcome back another day of quickfire selections! Today, I’ve got three all-weather selections for you to take a look at, one at Lingfield and the other two at Southwell. Now, as a rule, Friday is usually a day where I have some of my stronger winning picks, however it’s not the case this week, so I’m advising small stakes only this time.
Let’s make it a freebie Friday! My bookie recommendation for today is BetVictor, where there is a great offer available. The BetVictor offer for newcomers is Bet £5 on horse racing, Get £30 in bonus bets. What better way to top up your betting bankroll ready for a big weekend.
My first selection today is Real Estate, running for the Michael Attwater stable, who I feel is a little overpriced at 9/1. He is a horse that can make things a little difficult for himself, but he has ability on his day and ran well last time out in a strong contest.
A big positive to his chances tomorrow is having jockey Robert Havlin back on board. He is the only jockey to have won on Real Estate and has managed to do so four times, with three of those wins coming over course and distance. If he turns up in the right sort of form, then he has a good each way chance at a decent price.
Heading over to Southwell next and in this race, I’m going to take a chance on Easter Icon improving for his return to the track. He’s priced at 11/2, which is about right considering how well he finished off last year and it would be no surprise to see him take advantage of the weak looking field here.
Trainer Jack Channon has started off his career absolutely flying and I think he will have this lad tuned up to the max for his first run of the season. He settles nicely, travels well and looks like the experience towards the end of the year did him well. Easter Icon is a very interesting contender.
This is a much more competitive Handicap and a race I’m really looking forward to watching. My NAP selection, Angle Land, from the Robert Cowell yard, runs in this one and I think he’ll be hard to beat. He’s nicely priced at 9/2, which offers you plenty of value for a classy horse that I believe is in with a big chance.
Robert Cowell is a master at producing horses for these types of sprints and Angle Land is a smart gelding who is surely open to improvement. I also think it’s highly significant that the team are travelling for two hours to run him as their only entry at Southwell.
He is already a course and distance winner and he clearly has more left in the tank. He is once again piloted by the very capable Daniel Muscutt, who has a two from two record on this gelding. Definitely a worthy NAP and 9/2 is just about enough to tempt me into a decent bet here.
Thanks again for tuning in and don’t forget to take advantage of all of the offers here at Betting.co.uk. You’ve already seen my personal favourite, but there’s plenty more here to choose from.
I’ll be back again soon with a full list of my selections for the weekend, but if you want to get them even sooner, then all you need to do is to join me on my Discord chat. I hope to see you there soon!
