Thank you for joining me again today. With the weekend almost upon us, I’ve been taking a close look at Saturday’s Sandown card and I’ve put together a Lucky 15 you to get stuck into. My selections today are exclusively for those of you who are joining me here on Betting.co.uk.
I have been in very good form of late including yesterday, when I landed a 12/1 NAP at Punchestown to continue a run of profitable days. With Jonbon gracing the track at Sandown on Saturday, I have decided to choose four selections from that same card, which I’m hoping can add to my run of winning picks.
Before we get to the nitty gritty, I recommend that you take a look at the current Bet £10, Get £30 in free bets offer up for grabs at Bet365. There’s plenty of time to get your free bets in time for Saturday’s Sandown action.
The first selection for my Sandown Lucky 15 comes in the name of Enrilo who is running for Paul Nicholls. He is incredibly talented when he’s having a good day, but can have a few bad jumps in him when he’s not. However, he has excellent Sandown form and I’m willing to overlook his jumping as he comes into this race off a very well-handicapped mark.
He’s a currently trading at a value price of 8/1, which seems too big to me based on his natural ability and the fact Paul Nicholls has been mopping up some big Handicaps this season. It would certainly be no surprise to see him bag another one here this weekend.
Hudson De Grugy comes into this race in fine form after winning over C&D in March. He made a few mistakes that day, but battled really well to go on and win. He is a horse that has really started to get the hang of things this season and I can see him improving again for that experience last time out.
He handles most surfaces, although I wouldn’t want the ground to get too dry, and he is only 3lb higher than last time out. Even though his best form is generally over Hurdles, he really is starting to look like a Chaser just lately and I think he’s ready to put up a really big show again tomorrow.
Thyme Hill has had a mixed bag of performances since taking on fences and switching back to hurdles here should do him no harm. He is a proven Grade One winner over 3m and even though this is slightly shorter, he has plenty of speed about him.
I think we will see the very best version of Thyme Hill at Sandown tomorrow, which will make him very hard to beat. He is clearly the best on ratings and should be able to put on a very good performance here if he turns up in tip top shape.
Samarrive is a lovely horse who travels extremely well and he loves it here at Sandown. As he’s sitting at top weight, I’m pretty sure he will benefit from having Freddie Gingell on board, who claims 7lb. He won this race off 1lb lower last year and will have been trained to the minute for a repeat bid and that in itself is enough to have me sold on this lad.
The Sandown track really suits his running style, he’s carrying the right weight and the fact he travels well is just another bonus to add to his chances. I think he takes all the beating in the final race of the day and at 4/1, he brings more than enough value to our Lucky 15.Get the best bookie deals for Super Sandown Saturday.
