    This betting term relates to backing the outcome of the first half in a football or rugby match.

    You will bet on the home or away team to win or back the draw after 45 or 40 minutes.

    The bet will only run for the first half. So, your bet will win if you back a draw at half time even if the home team eventually go on and win the match.
