Manchester United welcome Wolverhampton Wanderers to Old Trafford in the Premier League on Tuesday evening, with the home side looking to return to winning ways.
United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could be without Marcus Rashford and Victor Lindelof for this game. Rashford suffered a shoulder injury during the draw with Leicester City on Boxing Day, while Lindelof was forced off with a back injury during the same game. Daniel James is rated as doubtful while Aaron Wan-Bissaka will also be missing. The Red Devils will be looking to extend their home unbeaten league run against Wolves to 10 games.
Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo has no new injury concerns heading into Tuesday’s game, but Raul Jimenez, Willy Boly, Leander Dendoncker and Jonny are all still sidelined. Wolves are yet to lose to United since their return to the Premier League two seasons ago. They have lost their last two away games this season, though, and will be looking to avoid three consecutive away defeats – something that last happened to them in 2012.
These two teams have met 12 times in total in the Premier League. United have won six of those games, with four of those victories coming at Old Trafford. Wolves have beaten the Red Devils three times in the Premier League, but all three of those wins have come at Molineux, There have been three Premier League draws between the teams. The last time they met at Old Trafford the game ended 0-0. Betway have odds of 9/1 on this game ending a draw where neither team scores.
Our tip for this game comes from Betway, who are offering a price of 11/2 on United winning the game 1-0. While the Red Devils have not been in great form in recent times, we suspect that they will still have just too much for Wolves on this occasion.
