This week is absolutely flying and weāre already into Thursday, but I have two strong selections for you who should both give us a really good run for our money. Iāll be very disappointed if my NAP selection doesnāt cross the line first and overall, Iām happy enough with todayās picks to put them up as singles and doubles.
Tomorrow, Iāll be bringing you Jumps action from Cartmel and then at the weekend we have the Northumberland Plate to look forward to, so keep tuning in. But for now, letās get onto some midweek winners.
Before we move on, I just want to remind you about one of my favourite bookie offers, which comes from William Hill who are currently handing out Ā£20 in free bets if you bet Ā£10. Definitely worthy of your attention if you want to boost your bankroll before the weekend. Ā https://www.betting.co.uk/ginger-joe/william-hill-offer/.
My first selection of the day is Desert Games for the Richard Fahey team, who only have two runners at Newcastle. This one is a smart-looking gelding, who already has experience on this Tapeta surface, which is a big bonus.
A year on, he has really started to get into the swing of things and he was really unlucky not to have got his head in front at Brighton last time out, having been denied a clear run until very late in the race. He travels very nicely and a return to this surface could actually bring out even more improvement in him.
He is bred to be a sprinter and he still remains relatively unexposed over this trip. He put on a very eye-catching performance in his last race, he has plenty of gears and a repeat performance should certainly see him there or thereabouts.
In the Filliesā Handicap at Leicester, I am going to give one last chance to New Heights, who cost me and my followers a jackpot win last time out when she was chinned on the line at Salisbury. I think if she had been held up just a little bit longer, but it was a big step back in the right direction and she ought to go close in this field.
The good ground was a factor when I put her up last time out and with conditions right up her street again, there is no reason why she canāt win this. She already has form at a higher level and her mark is handy enough.
Another positive factor is that James Doyle has been booked for the ride. Heās a very astute jockey and he should be able to get tactics just right on this filly. If she turns up in the same form she was in at Salisbury, then she is the one that takes all the beating and Iām happy to give her one more chance.
If you already have a William Hill account, not to worry, we have over Ā£250 of other free bet offers right here at Betting.co.uk
Thanks once again for joining me here on Betting.co.uk racing fans. Do make sure you come back again tomorrow, as I have some good selections lined up at Cartmel for Friday, but in the meantime, you can keep in touch on any of my social media channels.
