The DP World Tour is off to South Korea this week for the 2024 Genesis Championship. The event is set to take place on the very difficult Jack Niklaus course and there is a very open lineup for this week’s tournament too. In turn, that means we can find plenty of value this week and I am feeling very confident indeed about my player selections. My best bet last week was Rasmus Hojgaard, who finished in the places for us, but this week I’m looking for winners!
In addition to offering the best prices and places for this week’s tournament, BetVictor has a generous sign up offer for new customers too.

We have a superb venue for the Genesis Championship, as the DP World Tour heads to the Jack Niklaus course in South Korea. It is a Par 72 over 7470 yards and it presents a very tough test for golfers from start to finish. This is a course that requires accuracy off the tee, good ball striking, and consistent iron play too. The players who will do best here are those with a high greens in regulation percentage, but with undulating greens here, they will also need to putt well enough to take advantage of this. There are also a number of holes which have false fronts around the greens, and slopes that lead away from the pin, so a good scrambler is also a must-have on this course. It’s fair to say that only a really consistent all-round player has a decent chance on this course, and with only three events left this season, the players here will all be giving it their best shot.
My strongest selection this week is Calum Hill, as he seems to have a resume that is perfectly suited for this course. He may only have one DP World Tour title to his name at the moment, and I am honestly surprised he hasn’t won more, but I feel it’s only a matter of time before he finds himself in the winner’s enclosure again. Golf courses that require a strong tee to green game seem to be his forte, and this course provides exactly that sort of test.
Calum comes into this event following a tied 18th in France, and then last week he tied for 28th in the Andalucia Masters and to me, he looks ready to get back to winning ways.
He is very consistent, shows a really solid game from tee to green and his putting has become ultra-reliable this year too. Calum Hill definitely holds stronger credentials than most this week, and this could easily be his time to shine. At 30/1 he looks a really good bet.
My second pick for the Genesis Championship is Joost Luiten. He is an all round classy golfer and is already a six-time DP World Tour winner. His profile suits this course very well indeed. He is plenty accurate off the tee, he has a superb iron game, which is probably his number one strength, and he has a very reliable short game too.
In recent months he has played really well without winning. But what I particularly like about him is that even when he doesn’t shoot a low score, his rounds are solid enough that he doesn’t lose shots to the field. I don’t think the scoring will be too low this week to be honest, so a few good rounds and a solid one will be enough to keep him in contention. Joost Luiten is all class, and at the right price, he definitely comes into the equation
