What fantastic racing we have had so far this week and it doesn’t stop there, as we have plenty more on the way tomorrow and at over the weekend. The big names are starting to hit the racetrack and on Saturday we’ve got Jumps racing from Aintree and Wincanton to look forward to. I have a fair few horses that are already on my shortlist, so make sure that you come back tomorrow to check them out.
For Friday, I’m sticking with CopyBet, after all, it’s not often you come across a £5 free bet with no deposit required. Let’s all take advantage while their generosity lasts.
I have come up with two selections for you to look at for Friday, both running at Exeter. Despite the dreadful weather we are facing across the UK, the current going prediction of good/good to soft in places is perfect for both of these runners and I’m hoping for some positive results.
We have some cracking mares in the line up here and it’s easy to make a case for a fair few of these. Jersey Lady is on a bit of a roll and is looking to make it four wins in a row. She doesn’t win by far, so she seems fairly well-treated still and could run a big race.
The one to be on here though is Harry Fry’s Ma Belle Noire who is on a real upward curve. She travels really well and she has shown plenty of gears to see out her races. The application of blinkers seems to have worked well for her, she has the best profile here and she should still be ahead of her mark.
Asta La Pasta is an interesting contender or the Skelton team and he has already clocked up a win over Hurdles, so that experience is sure to bode well for him here. However, I think that Diamond Ri could just be a tad special.
He made my horses to follow list and he was seriously impressive when winning his Bumper on debut at Warwick and didn’t need to be extended to pull clear. He travelled supremely well and looked above average that day, so if he can transfer that performance to Hurdles, I think we are onto a winner here.
