It’s a new week which means new betting tips and we are heading to Leicester for some decent Flat racing. I have found two solid selections to start us off and both look sure to be in the money. My first selection gives weight away to the field under a penalty, but I really fancy her chances and she has some very strong form in the book.
My NAP bet of the day lines up in the next race, and this is another with some solid form behind him. He ran a nice race on debut, finishing close behind a subsequent Group winner and he looks more than ready to break his maiden. We have loads of good racing coming this week so make sure you tune in every day.
With a cracking day of racing at Leicester, I have teamed up with BetMGM to bring you this great deal. Bet £10, and you’ll get £60 in free bets. A nice boost for your midweek betting.
There are a few with some potential in the Fillies’ Novice Stakes. Maybe Not finished fifth on debut and although she needs to improve to take this, she is a nice filly and I can see her going better this time. Orchid represents George Boughey, who is doing remarkably well with his two-year-olds this season. This filly is bred for success and she is sure to be in the mix.
However, I think they will all need to improve a fair bit to get the better of Michael Stoute’s
Formal. She won impressively on debut at Newbury, travelling nicely throughout.
She beat a short-priced favourite from the Gosden yard that day and I think she has plenty more improvement to come. Although I am usually quite dubious about backing horses who are giving away weight to likely improvers, this filly is particularly smart. She has a nice turn of foot, and ticks all of the boxes with Ryan Moore in the saddle.
There is another interesting lineup in the next race. There are few nicely-profiled types who have yet to show any form, with the exception of Michael Stoute’s Archivist. He should come on plenty for his latest run and with Ryan Moore doing the steering, he shouldn’t be too far away at the finish.
However, I think the one to beat here is Starzintheireyes who runs here for the Ralph Beckett team. His runner-up effort on debut looks very strong form indeed. He was quite green, but did some excellent work late on and should be able to go one better here. The horse who beat him that day was Field Of Gold, who went on to win the Group 3 Solario Stakes next time out. Despite being in a field of unexposed horses, Starzintheireyes won't need to improve much at all to take this race.
