Chris Eubank Jr Vs Conor Benn Boxing Betting Tips & Preview
Before Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn shared a boxing ring for the first time in April 2025, we were all forgiven for thinking that this was just a sideshow with two sons of legendary fighters trying to get their moment in the sun.
After 12 brutal rounds, it is safe to say that both Eubank Jr and Benn both deserve their top billing. It was a brilliant fight that lived up to the build up.
Both fighters came into the bout full of verbal insults, claiming what they were going to do to each other. They did not lie as they both laid down the gauntlet. Eubank was announced the winner with a unanimous points victory. He deserved the win, but Benn played his part and it was inevitable that these two would do the dance again.
These two will never be friends, too much bad blood has passed, but we should be in for another exciting fight. Mind games played a huge part in the last fight as Chris Eubank Snr made an appearance alongside his son when it was believed Senior did not agree with the fight and would not be attending.
He did attend and accompanied his son to the ring. Benn will claim it did not affect him, but it must have done as the crowd lifted when Eubank Snr appeared on the big screen - that must have lifted Junior and his fans.
Back to this fight. Eubank Jr and Benn will lock horns at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday, November 15 and Benn will believe he will have enough to gain a measure of revenge for his defeat earlier this year.
What I took from the first fight is that both of these men are better fighters than I gave them credit for. This has the potential to be a fight of the year contender. Not many fights live up to the hype, but this one might just do that.
Eubank Jr v Benn Stats
Chris Eubank Jr only has three defeats under his belt from 38 fights. His first defeat was way back in 2014 when he suffered a split decision defeat at the hands of Billy Joe Saunders in a real grudge match. These two cannot stand each other and fully expect him to be in and around Benn's corner this weekend just to try and get under the skin of Eubank Jr.
Eubank Jr then went on a run of eight fights undefeated, which saw him win the British middleweight title and the IBO Super Middleweight belt. He then suffered his second defeat as he lost on points to George Groves in the World Boxing Super Series Super Middleweight quarter-finals.
Eubank Jr once again regrouped and went on to win the vacant WBA interim middleweight championship belt before suffering his first stoppage defeat as he was halted in the fourth round against Liam Smith in January 2023. He woould get his revenge later on that year as he stopped Smith in the 10th round of their rematch.
That would be Eubank Jr's last defeat and he has since recorded wins over Kamil Szeremeta and Benn to put him back as a main eventer.
Benn has only been beaten once as a professional fighter, but he has not faced the calibre of fighter that Eubank has over the years. He has beaten the likes of Chris Algieri, Samuel Vargas and Sebastian Formella, but they are not in the same league as some of Eubank's opponents.
The first time Benn got in the ring with a world class opponent, he came up short as he was dominated by Eubank. This does not mean Benn is not a quality fighter, he just needs to remain focused and as soon as he gets a big scalp under his belt, the bigger fights will come to him.
Both of these men have not been in the ring since they fought each other - who will come out on top?
Eubank vs Benn II - The Verdict
Before the first fight, I was firmly in Camp Benn. I though he was the better fighter and the more likeable character. I got it wrong. Eubank dealt with the outside stuff better than Benn did and just let his fists do the talking.
Benn will be eager to prove he deserves to be a main event fighter, and that might be his downfall in this second fight. He doesn't want to just beat Eubank, he wants to beat him badly and humiliate him.
This will play into Eubank's hands in my opinion. The harder Benn tries, the more reckless he will become and Eubank will be able to pick off at will. If Benn is to win, he needs to end this early - inside the opening four rounds.
If he does not get the quick finish, then Eubank will grow into the fight and end this one late on.
I am backing for a 10th round stoppage in favour of Eubank to put an end to this somewhat forged rivalry.
