Winning in this particular event is crucial because it’s through the European League that the teams can move forward to even bigger events, like the Six Major, by accumulating points.

Now, if you’re a British R6 fan, you probably don’t watch most tournaments outside Six Invitational due to lack of representation. It’s hard to become too excited in an event where you have no real horse to cheer for. Fortunately, we’re seeing some changes. British players are becoming more and more involved in the pro scene as new eSports orgs emerge from the country. Which teams should you bet on if you want to support British players?

MNM Gaming – The One British Team

Out of all the Rainbow 6 eSports teams participating in the European League, only MNM Gaming is a true brand of Britain. Their players include Josh “Yuzus” Pritchard, Leon “neLo” Pesić, Luke “Tyrant” Casey, Callum “Neonical” Humphreys, and Fatih “Solotov” Türker. Yuzus, Tyrant, Neonical, and their coach Jack “Sparxo” Wright are the British members of the team.

As for MNM Gaming, the org itself has approximate total winnings of $75,000, not that much, but it tells you that they’ve been around the game for quite a while now. The organisation’s history dates back to 2018. Sure, they’ve never won an Invitational yet, but they’ve got noteworthy accomplishments under their belt. For example, during the Closed Qualifier that took place at the end of January several months ago, MNM Gaming managed to beat big eSports teams like Team Vitality and Team Secret. Other Teams with British Players

In the last European League, the UK only had 20% representation. Now, that number has grown to 26%, a 30% increase within a relatively short amount of time. We’re seeing new British players step into the R6 pro scene for the first time. Players like Jake “Sloth” Brown, Ralph “Anarchic” Coates, and Nathan “Grizzly” Harding from Heroic have all just recently made their debuts.

Okay, maybe just as much as Rogue’s coach Matthew “meepeY” Sharples (who’s also from the UK) has contributed.

Team Secret is another team populated with some great R6 British players. Luke “Kendrew” Kendrew, a player who went far with NAVI in 2018, is making sure he’ll go far with Team Secret in 2022. Of course, that won’t happen without Peter “pacbull” Bull’s in-game leading and William “Titan” Davie’s coaching and analysis.
