Best New Slot Releases: January 16th, 2026

It’s a week of big sequels at UK online slot sites, with Nolimit City and Yggdrasil following up two of their most popular hits with long-anticipated sequels in the shape of Duck Hunters Happy Hour and Raptor 2. There is also some more relaxing content hitting top UK casinos this week, with Pragmatic Play partner studio Fat Panda whisking us away to Ancient China with Lucky Fortune Tree.

Let’s take a closer look at each of these three new online slots and find out the best UK casinos to take them for a spin.

Duck Hunters Happy Hour

A new Nolimit City slot is always worth getting excited about, and the studio has delivered once again with Duck Hunters Happy Hour.

The slot is the follow-up to last year’s Duck Hunters, which was a big success for the studio. The game takes players to a BBQ in a US southern state, where duck is very much on the menu.

Like all Nolimit City slots, it is not one to shy away from the more taboo elements of its theme, with the character design leaning heavily into southern stereotypes. Of course, it is also packed with great gameplay mechanics, including a Scatter-Pay system and Nolimit’s trademark xWays and Infectious xWays features.

It also offers an extremely attractive maximum win of 33,333x and a solid RTP of 96.07%.

You can find Duck Hunters Happy Hour and a range of other Nolimit City slots at BetMGM.

Lucky Fortune Tree

If Duck Hunters Happy Hour is a little too complex for your liking, then Pragmatic Play and Fat Panda’s Lucky Fortune Tree provide the perfect alternative.

The game uses a basic 3x3 set-up with five paylines. It transports players to a silent field and leans into the popular theme of

The main bonus in the game is a Cash and Collect feature, with Cash symbols paying out their values whenever they land alongside a Collect symbol. There is also a respins feature ,which, like most respin features, continues as long as you land Cash or Collect symbols on the grid.

For a simple game, it packs a reasonable punch in the winning department, offering up an 8,000x maximum win with an impressive 96.50% RTP.

It is not a slot that is going to reinvent the wheel, but for players who like their gameplay a little more chilled, it will provide plenty of entertainment.

If you want to take Lucky Fortune Tree for a spin, you can do so at Star Sports.

Raptor 2: DoubleMax

Finally, we have the sequel to one of Yggdrasil’s most popular slots. Raptor: DoubleMax was a hit for the company upon its release in 2021, and while it’s taken a while, the studio is taking us back to the jungle for Raptor 2: DoubleMax.

The slot is as visually appealing as its predecessor, with the benefit of five-years worth of graphics enhancement. It also serves up plenty of exciting action, with the DoubleMax Multiplier making its return.

Winning combinations are removed from the grid, with new symbols falling into their place and Wilds being added to the reels. The progressive DoubleMax Multiplier, which is applied to wins, is then doubled.

This allows the slot to deliver a solid maximum win of 9,493x the player’s stake, with an attractive RTP of 97% being available at some top UK online casinos. You can enjoy Raptor 2: DoubleMax at William Hill.
