This could be the final time we see Derek Chisora in a boxing ring, and it is expected to be an absolute bell ringer of a fight.
Chisora will walk out for what will be his 50th - and quite possibly last - professional fight when he goes toe-to-toe with former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder at the O2 Arena in London.
'Del Boy' has always been a fans favourite in the UK. His uncompromising style and attitude has made him a likeable fighter. He has never won a major title, but he has been in the ring with the likes of Tyson Fury, Dillian Whyte, Joe Joyce, Vitali Klitschko, David Haye and Oleksander Usyk.
Chisora has a professional record of 49 fights with 36 wins and 13 losses. Chisora will not go down as one of the best British fighters ever, but he has plenty of heart and will always put on a performance.
Chisora has won his last three fights. He last tasted defeat back in 2022 when he was topped in the 10th round against Tyson Fury for the WBC heavyweight title at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. He has picked up wins over Gerald Washington, Joe Joyce and Otto Wallin.
Deontay Wilder is a different beast than the likes of Wallin and Washington. Chisora will need to use of all his ring smarts to get a hold of this fight. Unfortunately, I think Wilder will be too strong for the Brit.
Wilder is a former world champion, and although he might not be at the level he was seven years ago, he still packs a powerful punch ad the Bronze Bomber can never be underestimated.
Since Wilder lost his WBC belt against Fury in 2020, he has lost to Fury again, Josepha Parker and Zhilei Zhang. His last bout saw him stop Tyrrell Anthony Herndon in the seventh round, proving he still has punching power.
Chisora is good to watch because he is very unpredictable. He could come out and knock Wilder out in two rounds, or he could end up on the canvas himself and even spend 12 rounds hugging his opponent.
When it comes to boxing betting tips for this fight, I cannot see past a win for the American. Wilder will not be up for a hugging battle, I am backing the Bronze Bomber to get his hand raised at the end of 12 gruelling rounds. Both fighters can punch hard, but they are steady on their feet, so I cannot see any knockdowns in this one.
I feel bad writing Chisora off, but out of the big fights he has had, he has lost the majority of them. He has lost to Fury three times, Whyte twice and Parker twice. I just cannot see him getting past Wilder.
