Tyson Fury vs Mariusz Wach Boxing Betting Tips & Preview

The world of boxing is full of mind games and the massaging of egos, and Tyson Fury is the master of them both. He loves to talk himself up at every opportunity, but he can usually back it up.

After Fury won his comeback fight against Arslanbek Makhmudov following his latest retirement, he immediately called out Anthony Joshua for a mega money all-British affair.

Fury even hinted at the fact he would need a warm up fight and he was ready to take on AJ at a minute's notice. Well, things have changed. The Fury versus AJ fight looks set to happen later in 2026, although no official date or venue has been confirmed yet.

Joshua is having his own warm up fight against Kristian Prenga and this fight will take place on July 25 in Saudi Arabia. This fight was confirmed months ago, but now Fury wants a fight and he will take on Wach the day before Joshua's fight in Thailand.

Like I mentioned. it is all mind games. Fury has jumped the queue in terms of the calendar, and no doubt he will be looking to put on a devastating performance to send a warning message to Joshua before he laces his gloves up.

This fight is all about getting more rounds under his belt for Fury. He might not talk publicly about how good AJ is, but he knows he cannot go in cold against the former champion.

This fight will last as long as Fury wants it to last. If he wants a quick night he will be able to get Wach out inside three rounds. If he wants a proper work out, he can take it to points or a late stoppage.

This is not a slight on Wach. The Polish fighter is no walkover. He has been in the ring with Alexander Povetkin, Martin Bakole, Dillian Whyte, Hughie Fury, Frazer Clarke and Moses Itauma. He has lost to all of them but he will not give in.

I have to go with Fury for the win. I think he will go for time in the ring rather than a quick knockout. I am backing The Gypsy King to end this late in the 10th round, possibly with a couple of knock downs along the way. This fight will not go the distance just because Fury will not allow it to,
