CS:GO BLAST Premier: Spring Finals 2022

Publish Date: 01/06/2022

Are CS:GO BLAST tournaments among your favourite events? If so, then you’re going to have a good time soon! The BLAST Premier: Spring Finals 2022 is around the corner, and the chances to support your favourite teams and idols while pocketing some cold, hard cash on the side sure come with it! Bet on CS:GO without straight up throwing your money by reading on.

CSGO tournament

The Favourite – FaZe Clan

When the CS:GO pro scene returned to LAN for good early this year, FaZe suddenly popped off out of nowhere, winning 1st place in a series of S-Tier events, including BLAST Premier: Spring Group 2022, Intel Extreme Masters XVI – Katowice, ESL Pro League Season 15, and PGL Major Antwerp 2022. These achievements immediately brought them to the top of the food chain, and the bookies will most definitely be merciless when it comes to giving them odds.

But we reckon putting all your eggs in FaZe is a bit risky. After all, we have to ask: “Just how long can their precious moments last?” We don’t know how far FaZe is from the end of the rainbow, but we know for sure that it exists. We’re not saying they will perform miserably in this event at all. We’re just saying that in most matchups, the odds will probably be skewed too much to their favour that it will be unreasonable (and unprofitable) for punters to back them. Although they’ve been winning a lot of events lately, you have to drain all of your piggy banks to make money on their fights.

Luckily, the best eSports betting sites we’ve put together for you are generous enough to offer superior odds and make these fights still worth paying attention to.

The Alternative – G2 Esports

This is where G2 comes in. Not so long ago—on the 27th of February, to be exact—G2 contested FaZe at the Grand Final of the Intel Extreme Masters XVI – Katowice. Sure, they lost 0-3, but if you watched the games, you’ll remember that they made FaZe earn it to the very end. Two of the matches went to OT, and one of those literally reached the 30-rounds threshold. The last game they lost ended in 14-16.

Why is G2 relevant? Because we reckon that they’re the proper team to bet on if you want to be realistic. They’ve fallen behind a little bit ever since their tilting loss at the Katowice (ending 17th-20th at ESL Pro League Season 15 and 9th-11th at PGL Major Antwerp 2022). Still, the team can very much pull off an amazing streak, and when they do, that’s when the big profit will start to rain.

Against teams like FaZe, NAVI, and ENCE, their odds will likely be handsome enough so that the risk/reward ratio is justifiable. Other less-favourable teams in the event—Team Vitality, OG, and paiN Gaming—just seem to be too dicey right now to stand up to the big guys. Perhaps G2, while maintaining a low profile at the moment, will turn up and shock the community. They did it before, and they can do it again.

If you don’t want to miss the opportunity to ride on the G2 bandwagon before it’s too late, make sure to keep waiting for their odds at Bet365, which should be released earlier than on other betting sites. The Outside Bet - OG

If you want to be really daring, then OG is your horse. Even though they’re considered to be the underdog in this event (like in recent CS:GO BLAST tournaments), OG isn’t the team that you simply count out, even in an elite event like this. They’ve only played in 5 events in 2022 and claimed 1st in two of those (1 is a show match event though). Their most noteworthy achievement in recent history is beating Ninjas in Pyjamas (NIP) on the 5th of February (2-1) BLAST Premier: Spring Groups. That was an upset, all right. Can they pull another one this time?

We’re not sure. They’ve had some roster changes recently, benching 2 of their players and substituting 2 new faces that aren’t yet familiar to the crowd. Will this boost their performance or hinder it? We don’t know. And that’s why they’re the wild card here.

If you ever decide to go with them, why not take advantage of the best betting offers while you’re at it?

Conclusion

FaZe is at the peak of their powers. That much is known. We don’t recommend betting on the other elite teams against FaZe because you’ll probably get ugly, flat, and disproportionate odds before the match even begins. For the bookies, there’s just not much difference in their strengths even though there is. As a solution, you can put G2 and OG on your watchlist, 2 teams under the radar with enough hidden firepower to turn the tables.
