This is where G2 comes in. Not so long ago—on the 27th of February, to be exact—G2 contested FaZe at the Grand Final of the Intel Extreme Masters XVI – Katowice. Sure, they lost 0-3, but if you watched the games, you’ll remember that they made FaZe earn it to the very end. Two of the matches went to OT, and one of those literally reached the 30-rounds threshold. The last game they lost ended in 14-16.
