After the ESL One Stockholm 2022, the race to collect DPC points continues! Dota 2 DPC league in Western Europe has just begun, and you know what that means: more betting opportunities for everybody.
In this article, we’re looking at a series between OG and Tundra, which will start on the 14th of June at 1:00 PM GMT. Let’s see what’s up with these two teams and how best to go about betting on their upcoming fight.

If you’ve been playing or following the game for a long time, then you know OG to be one of the most innovative teams in Dota 2 history. They’ve come up with insane, unorthodox drafts and strategies that made the meta numerous times in the past. This genius eventually led them to become the first-ever back-to-back Dota 2 TI champions. And now, their relatively new roster—which includes Artem “Yuragi” Golubiev, Bozhidar “bzm” Bogdanov, Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf, Tommy “Taiga” Le, and Mikhail “Misha” Agatov—is back in the Dota 2 DPC league to devour even more points. They’ve already 2-0ed Team Secret. Their next target? No other than Tundra Esports.
Tundra Esports is a British esports organisation with players from different nationalities. Other than being strong in diversity, Tundra’s Dota 2 division is strong in performance. Their players Oliver “skiter” Lepko, Leon “Nine” Kirilin, Neta “33” Shapira, Martin “Saksa” Sazdov, and Wu “Sneyking” Jingjun have seemingly formed ferocious chemistry, putting the Tundra Esports brand at the top of the Dota 2 elite hierarchy. At the moment, they’re the final boss at the end of every team’s dream.

The intense rivalry between OG and Tundra won’t probably create enough chances for bettors to make a lot of money. There’s no underdog in this fight, only favourites with almost luck and chance as the difference-maker. Unless you’re already rooting for one team regardless of the odds, it would be hard to finalise your bet slip with high expectations in mind.
Right now, we’re seeing bookies offering around 1.70 for OG to win and 2.00 for Tundra. These aren’t favourable odds but remember that they can change before the match begins and even while the match is going on. Coral esports will probably release their odds very soon, so definitely keep an eye on that!
OG and Tundra have met quite recently before. In Dota 2’s latest biggest event, ESL One Stockholm 2022, these two faced each other on the second day of the group stage. It’s fair to say that both matches were one-sided in favour of Tundra due to OG failing to secure a solid footing by the 20-minute mark. Everything went downhill from there. Tundra would go on to score 5-1 before the playoffs, while OG followed with a 3-1 standing.
If we know one thing about OG, it’s that they’re very good at adapting to a wide variety of situations, especially when mentored by master strategists Johan “N0tail” Sundstein and Sébastien “Ceb” Debs. In fact, in the very same tournament, OG would later get back at Tundra, reverse-sweeping them 2-0 in the lower bracket final with Ceb as the team captain instead of Misha, who failed to make it to the event due to Visa issues.
What makes this upcoming series interesting is that the original OG roster (without Ceb) will once again face off Tundra. We reckon that while the former OG captain did contribute a lot to the Stockholm victory, the team as a whole have improved since the last time they got 2-0ed, which was about a month ago. Will the bookies make the mistake of overestimating OG’s power? Or will Tundra become the lesser element in the rivalry? The odds for both teams will likely be neck-and-neck until the gold lead starts accumulating. They appear to be equal in strength in the last 4 games they played, which means you’re going to have to wait for one team to take the lead before you can get a 1:3 return or higher.
We see slim chances of a full sweep and are predicting a 2-1 result in the end. Unless OG keeps the special magic that allowed them to speedrun Stockholm’s lower bracket without making a serious blunder, then it’s realistically 50-50 at this point (which makes the series even more exciting, don’t you reckon?).
