Flamengo vs Chelsea Betting Tips: Fifa Club World Cup

Chelsea take on Flamengo in round two of Group D on Friday 20th June at 19:00. With both
sides having won their opening matches, this looks set to be a cracker in Philadelphia with
the winner guaranteed qualification for the next round with a match to spare.

Enzo Maresca’s side are in fine form heading into this contest, having won their last four
matches, keeping three clean sheets within those games.

So will it be the Conference League winners or the Brazilian table toppers to come out on
top? Let's take a look at the FIFA Club World Cup betting odds for this match.

Flamengo vs Chelsea betting odds

At the time of writing Chelsea are favourites to win the match at 5/6 with Unibet, although that has continued to drift after Flamengo’s comfortable 2-0 win against Esperance de Tunis in their opening game.

South American clubs have impressed in the first round of the tournament, which is why
Flamengo have shortened to 7/2 with Betfred to beat them in round two. For those who believe they will cancel each other out, FIFA Club World Cup betting odds are 11/4 with bet365 for both teams to finish in a draw.

Betting Tips for Flamengo vs Chelsea

Looking at the FIFA Club World Cup betting odds, the bookmakers are 50/50 as to whether
there will be goals in this one. With under 2.5 goals priced at 17/20 with bet365, Chelsea’s
clean sheets may well continue - but Flamengo aren’t a side that concede goals. In fact, they
have only conceded four in 11 league matches before heading to the US.

Under Filipe Luis, Chelsea’s former left-back, Flamengo have improved tenfold and are a
side that can compete with the very best - whether in South America or in Europe.

With that in mind, backing Flamengo double chance at 9/10, as well as under 2.5 goals,
looks to be the best bettting tips considering all four Brazilian teams didn’t lose in round one. Fitness
over fatigue European sides is also helping them out.

Odds on Chelsea to Win The Club World Cup

After Chelsea’s 2-0 win against LAFC, Maresca’s side remain 5th favourites to win the Club
World Cup. Their odds are unlikely to shorten until the knockout stage, with them being clear
favourites to win Group D. With Esperance de Tunis to follow after their match with
Flamengo, Chelsea fans will be confident their team can make it to the round of 16.

But do they have what it takes to go all the way? Plenty of European teams have looked
tired after a long season, and Chelsea have a big squad that they can utilise. However,
drawn on the same side as PSG and Bayern, who have started their campaign with 4-0 and
10-0 victories, Chelsea will have to be at their best if they are to spring a surprise.

However, there have been a few upsets already - and if Chelsea can be the first team to
beat a Brazilian outfit, other teams will have to take them more seriously than the
bookmakers are currently doing.
