Aston Villa will look to keep tabs on Arsenal and Man City with a home tie against Everton on Sunday afternoon. Unai Emery's side drew with Crystal Palace last time out in the Premier League, but return to Villa Park where they have been so dominant this season.
Our Premier League football expert Nathan Joyes analyses whether or not Villa can return to winning ways.
Aston Villa have won 11 home matches in a row across all competitions and will be in a confident mood when the Toffees come to town this Sunday.
Unai Emery's side return to Villa Park after two away matches on the bounce that saw them draw 0-0 with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park before knocking out Spurs of the FA Cup.
Many believe the title race only concerns Arsenal and Man City - but Villa fans will be confident their home form can keep them close to the front runners.
Amadou Onana will once again miss out due to injury but Emery will soon be able to welcome back Evann Guessand to his squad after returning from AFCON.
With a near full squad to choose from, Aston Villa will be in the mood to make it 12 wins on the bounce - and it's hard to back against them at present.
Everton are having an up and down season which is why they currently occupy 12th spot. However, their away form (9th best) is actually better than their home - perhaps still getting used to their new surroundings.
David Moyes' side head to Aston Villa cautious but optimistic. That's because his side have won three of their last five away matches, keeping four clean sheets in the process. Everton have only suffered a 2-0 defeat at Stamford Bridge since November last year.
The Toffees will, however, be without Iliman Ndiaye for yet another week as he prepares to face Morocco in the AFCON final. The visitors will also be without Michael Keane and Jack Grealish who went sent off in their last Premier League match vs Wolves.
Everton held Aston Villa to a 0-0 draw earlier in the season, ending back-to-back previous defeats against this year's surprise title contenders. Everton have only won one of their last five trips to Aston Villa, losing the other four including a thrilling 3-2 last campaign.
With Aston Villa brushing almost everyone aside at home and Everton arriving a little depleted, it's going to be a mammoth task for Moyes to bank any points. Can Villa make it 12 on the bounce?
Nathan Joyes has studied the Premier League odds for this clash and puts his best bet forward.
Aston Villa (7/11 with Betfred) will be a popular bet as always this weekend - but you don't need me to tell you that. Emery has mastered how he wants his team to play at home and it's going to take someone pretty special to stop them in their tracks.
That team could have been Everton (9/2 with Betano) if it wasn't for their absences. Keane, Grealish and Ndiaye are key players for Moyes - and how the Scot would have loved all three available for the trip to Villa Park.
Instead, Moyes won't have any of those - and his alternatives aren't quite as strong. That should play perfectly into Villa's hands, and a 12th home win in a row looks entirely possible.
Having won nine of them which has seen the match produce two goals or more, it's hard not to be sucked in to what should be another winning bet. Good luck if you're following.
