Arsenal begin their Champions League campaign with an away fixture against Athletic Club who will be looking to maintain their strong start to the new season.
Mikel Arteta's side brushed Nottingham Forest aside with a 3-0 victory at the weekend, but this will present a completely different test for the Gunners.
After three straight wins in August, Athletic Club fell to a 1-0 defeat at home to Alaves on Saturday. Can Ernesto Valverde's team bounce back?
Nathan Joyes takes a closer look at the match and provides his best bet and insight.
Athletic Club came out of the blocks fast this season.
They won all three La Liga matches in August, including promising home wins against Sevilla and Rayo Vallecano.
A 1-0 loss against Osasuna during the international break can be taken with a pinch of salt as that was an obscure friendly, but they returned to action at the weekend and fell to another 1-0 defeat against Alaves.
An own goal from Athletic's forward Alex Berenguer in the second half was enough for the visitors to pinch the points, and Athletic Club now have to pick themselves up as Arsenal arrive in town.
Arsenal have won three of their four matches - only losing 1-0 away to Liverpool - making a strong start to the new season. Even more impressively, Arteta's defence has yet to concede from open play. It took an incredible Dominik Szoboszlai free kick to beat David Raya, and with these kind of defensive displays, Arsenal are going to be in the running for a trophy come May.
At home, they've stepped it up a notch running out comfortable winners against Leeds (5-0) and Nottingham Forest (3-0). On the road, it has been more conservative, with a narrow win against Man United (1-0) and of course, that defeat vs Liverpool.
And so Arteta will once again look to keep it tight in Spain, and Athletic Club will have to work hard to break down Arsenal's resilient defence.
This will be only be their second ever competitive match against one another, with the first taking place this summer. Arsenal came out on top comfortable 3-0 winners in the Emirates Cup final.
It's also worth pointing out that Arsenal have won their last five meetings against Spanish opponents. Three were last season, including a historic double over Real Madrid.
With both clubs making a strong start to their domestic campaigns, Nathan Joyes believes this could be a tight affair, and one that doesn't produce too many goals. Let's dive in to his best bet.
Although Arsenal have been firing in the goals at the Emirates, there has been a more cautious approach away from home - and we may witness this once again in Spain.
Arteta's side had to ride the wave a little against Manchester United on the opening weekend, but were equally as strong at Anfield two weeks later. William Saliba may be injured but Cristhian Mosquera has stepped up and performed well in his absence.
Athletic Club are in a similar situation to Arsenal where two of their four league matches have produced under 2.5 goals. A manic opening game against Sevilla has gone completely against the tone, where Athletic have been rather difficult to break down.
They kept a clean sheet vs Rayo Vallecano, winning 1-0 from a penalty kick, before an infamous own goal saw them lose vs Alaves. But since that Sevilla match, it hasn't been easy for them.
And with that in mind, both teams may look to cancel each other out in round one, and a draw could be on the cards. Instead, I'll put up under 2.5 match goals. Good luck if you're following.
