Botafogo vs Fortaleza

Botafogo still have an outside chance of claiming an automatic Libertadores spot, while Fortaleza know a win would guarantee them safety after spending 24 rounds in the relegation zone.

The hosts are unbeaten in nine, as are the visitors, but at the Nilton Santos Davide Ancelotti's side can clinch three vital points. This is a squad stacked with talent - and having won their last three home matches scoring three in each of those, they should have enough to topple Fortaleza.

The visitors beat Corinthians midweek but looked dead on their feet towards the end. They survived too many scares that they wouldn't get away with against a side like Botafogo, and they may need to rely on other teams to secure their spot in Brazil's top flight next season.

They need just one more positive result, and so my first football tip is to back Vitoria to clinch at least a point on their travels.

Santos vs Cruzeiro

A hattrick from Neymar saw Santos see off Juventude and climb out of the relegation zone by two points heading into the final round. A point should get them over the line, and although they face 3rd place Cruzeiro, the Foxes have nothing to play for.

They also have the Copa do Brasil semi-final in four days time, and it is expected there will be heavy rotations in order to protect their best players. With more money on the line in that competition, Cruzeiro won't be fully concentrating on this final game.

But Santos will be. They were relegated for the first time in their history on the final day two years ago - but Neymar won't let that happen. He's scored four in his last two - and he can once again land us a winner and write his own headlines on Sunday.

Internacional vs Bragantino

Internacional were third favourites to win the title but head into the final day of the season in 18th place - two points adrift. They need a miracle. Not only do they need to win, but they are relying on teams above them dropping points. It's difficult to see how they get out of this one.

On Thursday, Internacional lost 3-0 against a Sao Paulo side that has multiple injuries and nothing to play for. Perhaps the writing on the wall has been there for quite some time.

Bragantino bounced back from a couple of defeats with a 4-0 win against Vitoria - a side also fighting for their lives.

Internacional are a massive football club in Brazil, and relegation would be a real shock. But those close to the game know they have failed this season and perhaps the writing is on the wall.

Vitoria vs Sao Paulo

Vitoria must win on Sunday and hope that one of the other teams in and around them slips up. But first and foremost, the have to secure the three points - and they have every chance.

Despite a car crash of a result away to Bragantino midweek, Vitoria had previously gone five games unbeaten. At home, they have only lost two of their last 10, beating the likes of Bahia and Mirassol.

A sell out crowd of 34,500 is expected, and this place will be absolutely rocking in order to get their team over the line.

Fortunately for the hosts, Sao Paulo are one of a few teams with nothing left to play for. They have so many first team injures, Hernan Crespo will be desperate for the campaign to finish. And having lost four of their last five away games, Vitoria couldn't be playing a better opponent.

Ceara vs Palmeiras

It has been a nervy end to the season for Ceara who have been dragged back into this relegation scrap and sit uncomfortably one point out it with just 90 minutes left on the clock.

A narrow midweek defeat against Flamengo showed great defensive resilience - and they will need that again vs 2nd place Palmeiras.

They may have nothing left to play for, but they hammered Atletico Mineiro 3-0 just five days after the Copa Libertadores final. Clearly Abel Ferreira's side want to finish the season strongly.

Ceara have lost all three meetings against Palmeiras this season - including two in the cup - but two of the three wins were narrow ones. Ceara will be fighting for their lives, while certain Palmeiras players will be fighting for a spot in this top heavy squad next year.

It's going to be a close match, but Palmeiras were very impressive midweek, and they can maintain 2nd spot with a close victory on the final day of the season.

Sport Recife vs Gremio

Sport Recife have been relegated for quite some time and they no doubt can't wait to wrap the season up and enjoy their break. They head into this contest on the back of 10 consecutive defeats, conceding at least two goals in all of them.

Gremio still haven't confirmed their Copa Sudamericana spot for next season, and having lost the reverse fixture 1-0, they will want revenge by signing off the campaign in style.

They were in danger of relegation themselves earlier in the year but several new faces have come in and delivered - including Carlos Vinicius. He's scored in his last four matches but sat out against Fluminense due to suspension.

However, the former Fulham man can sign off the season with his 11th goal in 14 Serie A matches against the league's worst defence by a country mile.
