Football betting tipster Nathan Joyes has provided his best betting predictions for Brazil Serie A's weekend fixtures focusing on six matches. Read about his best football odds below.
After three clean sheets in a row Botafogo almost fell to a shock defeat against 20th placed Sport Recife.
However, 18-year-old forward Kadir Barria's second half brace - including a 95th minute winner - secured three huge points for Davide Ancelotti's side.
Still, the hosts have now secured back-to-back victories - scoring six goals in the process - and look extremely menacing in front of goal.
Gremio travel to Rio de Janeiro on the back of a 2-0 home win vs Vasco, but winless in their last five on the road (D2 L3). All three defeats Gremio failed to score, while draws and goals against Fortaleza and Santos isn't much to shout about.
And so my first football tip focuses on once again the hosts coming out on top. Gremio's performances are chalk and cheese home and away and once again look set to fall short on the road.
Betting Tip: Botafogo -1 at 3/4 – Spreadex
Flamengo are feeling the pressure perhaps of delivering a title, whereas Bragantino have managed to climb out of a relegation scrap and into Copa Libertadores contention.
But all eyes will firmly be on Filipe Luis' side, who may need to win all four of their remaining games to make sure they finish in 1st. Can they rise to the occasion? This is a side full of superstars, and despite losing the recent Fla-Flu derby, have been in good form.
Goals certainly haven't been an issue. In fact, they've scored 14 in their last five matches across all competitions. However, only one clean sheet has been kept that came at home against 20th placed Sport Recife.
Bragantino have won their last three matches. A change in the dugout has been a breath of fresh air for the Red Bull owned club, who have never lost by a two goal margin against Flamengo stretching back to 1998.
Flamengo are heavily odds-on, but perhaps that's opened up a lenient angle on Bragantino - a club finishing the season without too much pressure on their shoulders.
Betting Tip: Bragantino +1.5 Asian Handicap at 9/10 - PricedUp
Palmeiras are two points behind Flamengo and they have little choice but to win every match going forward if they are to win the title.
But that's not going to be easy when Fluminense come to town. Having just beaten arch-rivals Flamengo, Luis Zubeldia's side have vastly improved under the former Sao Paulo head coach - who are on the cusp of returning to the Copa Libertadores.
They may have scored just four goals from their last five - but they have also only conceded three - impressively picking up 10 points in the process. With Thiago Silva in the heart of the defence, Fluminense are a tough nut to crack.
And although Palmeiras welcome back plenty of quality after the international break, it's difficult to see this game getting out of hand - especially after their 0-0 with Vitoria.
It's a bold play - but Fluminense are the masters of keeping it tight - and a rare unders bet involving Palmeiras looks to be the value bet.
Betting Tip: Under 2.5 match goals at 17/20 – Betway

Juventude head to Sao Paulo in great form having won their last three matches - giving them a fighting chance of survival as we approach the final four matches.
They've impressively scored eight goals in their last three games - including three against Vasco in a 3-1 win as well as the same amount against high-flying Cruzeiro in a 3-3 draw.
Juventude aren't going down without a fight which may just give them the edge in this contest.
That's because Sao Paulo are struggling to put a matchday squad together. With 12 injuries - including Oscar and Lucas Moura - this small squad is struggling to deliver on the pitch.
Not only do Sao Paulo head into this on the back of a 3-1 defeat against Corinthians, but they have only won one of their last five home matches. Back the visitors to make life difficult for them.
Betting Tip: Juventude +1 Asian Handicap at 1/1 – Betway
Bahia will be looking to bounce back from their disappointing midweek defeat against Fortaleza.
However, having won their previous five home matches conceding just one goal, the hosts are capable of maintaining their Copa Libertadores spot.
And while Bahia look to recover from their mini blip, Vasco head into this encounter completely out of sorts. They have lost their last four league matches in a row, scoring one goal and conceding 10.
To make matters worse, Philippe Coutinho is suspended and so a side struggling to create - without their main no.10 - are likely to struggle.
Bahia have picked up 39 points at home this season - only two behind Flamengo who have the best record - and they can put that to good use this weekend.
Betting Tip: Bahia to win at 7/10 – BetMGM
Cruzeiro may be too far adrift from Flamengo and Palmeiras to challenge for the title but it has been a tremendous season from the Foxes. Now it's all about cementing their top three finish.
However, as Cruzeiro are nine unbeaten, one or two further slip ups from the leading two sides could open the door - and at home, Cruzeiro will be keen to take the title race as far as they can.
In front of their fans, Cruzeiro have won three of their last five, beating Bragantino, Fortaleza and Vitoria. A 1-1 draw with Sport Recife sandwiched in between is a little concerning, but during a hectic period a rotated side couldn't quite get the job done despite being well on top
Corinthians head into this fixture on a high - but they should tread carefully considering their average away form. Having won just one of their last five, they've also lost three - one of those against Sport Recife who are destined for Serie B.
Cruzeiro dominated the reverse fixture despite drawing 0-0 - but with the title still on the line, it's hard to dismiss the hosts - especially with Kaio Jorge up front - who's scored 19 goals this campaign.
Betting Tip: Cruzeiro to win at 5/6 – BetMGM
