Football betting tipster Nathan Joyes has provided his best betting predictions for Brazil Serie A's weekend fixtures focusing on six matches. Read about his best football odds below.
While Flamengo will have one eye firmly on their Copa Libertadores final set to take place on Saturday, the title race in Brazil isn't over just yet.
Sitting four points above Palmeiras, Flamengo need just two more wins to come out on top. And with so much still at stake, Filipe Luis won't be rotating his squad.
They face 11th placed Atletico Mineiro - who will be feeling rather deflated after losing the Copa Sudamericana final on penalties at the weekend. To make matters worse, midfielder Igor Gomes is suspended for the clash.
Flamengo have won four of their last five away matches against Mineiro and head into this on the back of a convincing 3-0 win against Bragantino. The visitors look to be the best bet, and so my first football tip is to back Flamengo to win the match.
Betting Tip: Flamengo to win at 81/100 – Spreadex
Bragantino can no longer win a Copa Libertadores spot for next season, which may see their motivation wilt a little when Fortaleza come to town. They have picked up nine points from their last possible 15, before a poor performance saw them hammered 3-0 against title chasers Flamengo.
Still fighting for their lives, Fortaleza head into this contest unbeaten in their last six matches (W2 D4).
The reason why Fortaleza have been successful in recent weeks has largely been down to the form of forward Adam Bareiro, who has scored four goals in his last four matches. The Paraguayan is giving his team a fighting chance to avoid relegation.
And so it make senses to back Bareiro to lead the charge once more. Fortaleza's confidence has improved in recent weeks, and if they are to get on the scoresheet, it's going to be down to their Paraguayan.
Betting Tip: Adam Bareiro to score at 12/5 - PricedUp
After two back-to-back 0-0s, Palmeiras are falling short at just the wrong time. Abel Ferreira's side must effectively win all three remaining games of the season while hoping Flamengo slip up - but there's no reason why they can't get back on track on their travels.
Palmeiras do have players that can win football matches, including Vitor Roque who has scored 16 league goals in 32 games. The 20-year-old has drawn a blank in his last two matches but he's more than capable of dragging Palmeiras back into this title race.
The visitors won the reverse fixture 1-0 back in July, a result they will be more than happy with this time round.
Gremio are almost mathematically safe from relegation - but it has certainly been a season to forget. They've lost three of their last five matches, keeping just one clean sheet against a Vasco side signing 2025 off in poor form.
Motivation is key for Palmeiras here to stick with Flamengo - and their draw no bet price is too good to ignore with Gremio potentially on the beach.
Betting Tip: Palmeiras draw no bet at 3/4 – BetMGM
Flumiense have been flawless since appointing Luis Zubeldia - who was ironically sacked by Sao Paulo earlier the campaign. At the Maracana, Fluminense have lost just one of their last 12 matches across all competitions, winning their last seven in a row keeping six clean sheets in the process.
Zubeldia has built from the back yet his team have shown enough to get over the line. Four of their seven wins have been 1-0 - which has put them on the verge of securing a Copa Libertadores spot next season.
A win against Sao Paulo would see them claim a qualifying spot at the very least - the incentive is certainly there.
Sao Paulo arrive into this match having lost three of their last five away games. With 12+ first team injuries, they have been very unfortunate this season. But with luck against them, we too can follow recent trends and the hosts look good value to secure the win.
Betting Tip: Fluminense to win at 9/10 – Betway

It truly is now or never for Juventude. Six points adrift with just nine left available, the hosts must beat Bahia. It's as simple as that.
Their form has picked up in recent weeks - even if it has come a little too late to save them. But wins over Sport Recife and Vasco - as well as a draw against 3rd placed Cruzeiro - shows they aren't willing to roll over.
They fell short against Sao Paulo at the weekend despite dominating the match and back at home they will feel confident of unsettling Bahia.
That's because Bahia - who may well be sat in 6th - are poor on their travels. Winless in the league since mid-August, Bahia have failed to win eight games since, losing seven of those.
All of their good work has been done at home, and with Sport Recife up next, they may be relying on three points there to secure a Copa Libertadores spot. Juventude have every chance to defy the odds and delay their relegation.
Betting Tip: Juventude double chance at 7/10 – Betway
Similar to Juventude, Santos are bang in trouble. Although they have a game in hand, they are still two points adrift - and they won't want it to go to the final match of the season when they will face Cruzeiro.
They face Internacional at home prior to this match, so keep an eye on injuries and suspensions, but Santos should still have enough for Sport Recife - a side that hasn't been able to avoid the drop.
Sport Recife have lost their last eight matches and are currently on a 13 match winless run. Motivation has gone and they are preparing for life back in Serie B next season.
Santos, however, won't want to join them. Neymar certainly won't want a relegation to his name with his boyhood club - and he could be the answer to help save them from only their second relegation in their history.
The hosts are an extremely short price, but Neymar isn't - and he can score in back-to-back home games for the first time this season at a crucial point.
Betting Tip: Neymar to score at 6/5 – BetMGM
