Brighton will look to shake off their disappointing defeat against Aston Villa and beat a different opponent wearing claret and blue when West Ham make the short trip south.
Our very own Premier League expert Nathan Joyes provides us with his best bet for this clash.
Brighton's collapse against Aston Villa was very unlike them. That was their first defeat of the season at home - and perhaps a credit to the visitors and their current form rather than Brighton taking all of the blame.
Three previous consecutive victories against Newcastle, Leeds and Brentford were probably why so many bettors were keen to support them again. It wasn't to be, but alarm bells shouldn't be ringing just yet.
That's because Fabian Hurzeler's side sit in 7th, and a win in theory could propel them into a Champions League spot by the end of the weekend. But two defeats in the space of a week could see the Seagulls fall into the bottom half.
After a 2-0 home defeat against Liverpool, West Ham were back on their travels where they have quite frankly not been good enough.
However, Santo's side secured a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford which was their third away draw of the season, losing four and only winning once to date - a result that came all the way back in August against Nottingham Forest when their current manager was in the opposing dugout.
And although that result and performance against Man United was a step in the right direction, the Hammers need to stop conceding (28 - second highest) if they are to get out of the relegation zone.
Last campaign Brighton beat West Ham in a thrilling 3-2 win at home, before previously sharing the points with a 1-1 draw in East London. Brighton have won three of their last five home matches against the Irons, who have won just two trips since 2010.
With Brighton looking strong at home this season and West Ham having only won one of their eight away matches to date, there's no surprise to see that the Seagulls are odds-on to return to winning ways.
Nathan Joyes has looked at the Premier League odds for this match and puts forward his best bet for the match.
Brighton (6/11 with Betfred) were stunned after throwing away a two-goal lead against Aston Villa during the week, but lightning doesn't often strike twice, and the hosts can return to winning ways.
West Ham (5/1) with Betano) aren't anywhere near the same level as Unai Emery's side, and having failed to win any of their last three (D2 L1) Santo is desperate for three points during this festive period.
But it doesn't look like coming - especially on their travels. Brighton still have the 4th best home record in the league, scoring an average of at least two goals per match in front of their fans.
While West Ham will be in a slightly more confident mood, it could be false hope which plays into Brighton's hands. Having beaten the likes of Man City and Newcastle already this season, West Ham should be a much easier task - and Brighton will be hoping to finish the week on a high after their defeat to Villa.
