There are nine Bundesliga fixtures taking place this week, running from Friday, 5th December to Sunday, 7th December. Bundesliga tipster Ben Smith has outlined his latest bets and predictions, with each selection paired with the relevant Bundesliga betting odds for every match.
Mainz are in a tough spell, with the 4-0 loss to Freiburg extending their winless run in the top flight to eight matches.
There is little to suggest things are improving, especially with several players still unavailable. Monchengladbach also have injuries, but they have handled them far better and have taken 10 points from their last four games.
Getting evens on Monchengladbach draw no bet looks very reasonable and is one of the better options this weekend.

Koln left it late to take a point in Bremen last week, with Said El Mala scoring deep into stoppage time. They now return home, where their matches have usually been lively.
Their most recent one finished in a 4-3 defeat, continuing their run of both teams scoring in every home league game.
St Pauli have lost five straight away from home but still offer a threat, scoring in their last two. With Koln’s defensive issues, both teams to score looks a solid approach.
Betting Tip: Both Teams to Score - 7/10 10bet
Wolfsburg’s draw at Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday stopped a run of four straight defeats in all competitions, but they have still lost eight of their last 10. That makes them hard to trust at a little over evens.
Union Berlin were beaten by Heidenheim in their last league match, though they were the stronger side for most of the game. They were also a touch unfortunate in their narrow DFB Pokal loss to Bayern, and I’m comfortable backing them here.

Leverkusen’s excellent form was checked at home by Dortmund last week, though they got their revengel on Tuesday with a 1-0 victory at the Westfalenstadion in the DFB Pokal.
Their record on the road against bottom-half sides has been convincing, winning all three and scoring nine goals across those matches.
Augsburg have found life much harder when facing the top six. They have played five, lost all five, and conceded 16 goals. With those numbers in mind, Kasper Hjulmand’s side look well placed to get back to winning ways in the Bundesliga.
Betting Tip: Leverkusen to Win - 10/11 Coral
Freiburg have dealt with a demanding away schedule this season, and with none of their trips coming against bottom six sides, it is not surprising they have only one away win so far.
This fixture gives them a clear opportunity to add another, as Heidenheim have the joint weakest attack and joint weakest defence in the league.
Freiburg also produced a very controlled performance in their win over Mainz last week. Given the level of both teams, they should be well placed to continue their push towards the European spots.

Bayern Munich edged Stuttgart 2-1 at the MHPArena in the Super Cup in August, but since then Stuttgart have won every home match, keeping perfect records in the league and in the Europa League.
They should offer a real test for the champions, especially with Vincent Kompany’s side looking uncertain away from home after a draw at Union Berlin and a heavy loss to Arsenal.
Stuttgart have conceded only four goals at home in seven matches in all competitions since the Bundesliga began. This should be competitive, so the Asian handicap looks the sensible play, taking half profit even if Stuttgart lose by one.
Betting Tip: Stuttgart +1.25 Asian Handicap - 10/11 10bet
No side in the Bundesliga has scored more away goals than Eintracht Frankfurt this season, with seventeen from their first six matches on their travels.
They have needed every bit of that output, with their last two away wins finishing 4-3 and 6-4.
Leipzig’s perfect home record will appeal to some, but goals look the cleaner angle. Over 3.5 has landed in all but one of Frankfurt’s away games, and with Leipzig carrying plenty of threat themselves, another high-scoring match feels entirely plausible.
Betting Tip: Over 3.5 Goals - 11/10 10bet
Ten of Hamburg’s 12 points this season have come at home, and they have largely deserved them. Their most recent win at the Volksparkstadion was the standout, beating Stuttgart with a 94th-minute Fabio Vieira effort.
Before that, they held Dortmund, and while they were beaten by Wolfsburg earlier in the campaign, the xG numbers suggest that the result was hugely unlucky.
Werder have managed only one away win and look vulnerable in this spot.
Betting Tip: Hamburger SV to Win - 13/10 10bet
Hoffenheim are moving in the right direction, taking 16 points from their last 18, yet the odds for their trip to Dortmund do not really show it.
Dortmund may be unbeaten at home in the Bundesliga, but against top-half opposition they have not found a way through, drawing 3-3 with Stuttgart and 1-1 with RB Leipzig.
Hoffenheim look well priced to get something here, and the +0.75 Asian handicap gives a useful level of protection.
Betting Tip: Hoffenheim +0.75 Asian Handicap - 23/20 BetMGM
