Mikel Arteta's Arsenal head to Belgium to face Club Brugge and get back on track after their weekend defeat against Aston Villa. The hosts desperately need points but will take inspiration from their 3-3 draw with Barcelona, while Arsenal are looking to make it six wins from six.
Our football tipster Nathan Joyes has analysed the Champions League betting and provided his best tip for the match.
Although languishing in 26th, Club Brugge have saved their best football in this competition for their home fans. After hammering Monaco 4-1, the Belgians held Barcelona to a 3-3 draw - before VAR intervened and prevented them from claiming all three points in the dying moments.
Three away defeats have proved costly so far, yet defeats against Atalanta and Bayern in particular cannot be classed as a disappointment. And so at home is where Club Brugge have their best chance of qualification.
Having scored seven goals in two matches, Arsenal will need to be wary of Carlos Forbes who has two goals and as many assists to his name already. Brugge's quick counter caught out Barcelona, while their high-press stunned Monaco.
Can they now kick on and upset the best team in the competition?
Arsenal's 18 match unbeaten run came to an end in the most dramatic way possible at the weekend. A 95th minute winner for Aston Villa saw the Gunners lose for the first time since August - and no doubt Arteta will want an immediate reaction from his squad.
It's not time to worry just yet - especially having won all five Champions League matches to date - but Arsenal do have several key defenders out at the moment which is a slight concern.
William Saliba, Gabriel and Cristhian Mosquera are all sidelined at present, and although Arsenal have plenty in reserve, these are key individuals that have played a huge part in their early season success.
The first two, in particular, are a huge miss and Arteta will want both back as soon as possible.
This is the first ever meeting between these two sides. However, it's worth pointing out that Brugge have only one won of their 18 meetings against English opposition (D3, L14). Arsenal, on the other hand, are unbeaten against Belgian teams (W7 D2).
Although Club Brugge don't have the best track record against English opponents, they have been very solid at home in this competition - and a heavy loss may be out of the question. Nathan Joyes provides his best Champions League bet for the match.
Club Brugge (8/1 with Betfred) are the complete outsiders but their big price has made their handicap line rather appealing. As mentioned, Brugge blew Monaco away and were very unfortunate not to take all three points against Barcelona.
And what we can take from those two performances is that the hosts clearly aren't intimidated against some of Europe's biggest teams. This will arguably be their biggest test to date, but expect another high energy performance and one that won't show too much respect to their opponents.
Arsenal (1/3 with Betano) are inevitably a short price to return to winning ways - but it will be interesting to see what the reaction is, especially as we haven't witnessed Arsenal head into many matches on the back of a defeat this campaign.
With key players out at the back, Brugge won't be shy at taking the game to Arsenal, and although they may fall to defeat once more, their +1.5 handicap line looks too good to miss out on.
TIP: Club Brugge +1.5 Asian Handicap at 5/6 with BetMGM.
