The Championship returns on Saturday afternoon, with another busy schedule of fixtures as teams look to build momentum.
There are plenty of interesting matches across the league. Louie Truman has selected four tips for Saturday's football tips accumulator, with all four selections available through BetMGM, where you can also check out the latest Championship odds.
West Ham welcome West Brom to the London Stadium on Saturday, and I think the hosts have a good chance of picking up all three points. The Hammers have made a strong start to the season, sitting third in the table, just one point outside the automatic promotion places. They suffered a 3-2 defeat to Southampton last weekend, ending their nine-match unbeaten run.
West Ham have been particularly impressive going forward, scoring 32 goals so far this season, more than any other side in the Championship. The Baggies have also started the season well. Albion sit fifth in the table, just two points outside the top two, and haven’t lost in their last three league outings. They've had to come from behind in all three games, showing they can be difficult to beat.
However, I fancy the Hammers to bounce back. West Brom have been in decent form, but I think the hosts will have enough to secure three points.
Burnley host Portsmouth, and I think the visitors have a good chance of picking up at least a point. It's been a difficult start to the season for Burnley, who sit 22nd in the table, three points from safety.
The Clarets lost 4-1 against Lincoln last weekend, which led to the sacking of manager Nicky Hayen after just 14 matches in charge. Burnley have also struggled at home, failing to win any of their league matches at Turf Moor this season, so confidence will be low heading into this one.
Portsmouth have been in much better form recently, winning three of their previous four. Pompey sit 11th in the table, just two points outside the play-off places, and will be looking to continue their momentum.
Lincoln welcome Birmingham City to the LNER Stadium, and I fancy the Imps to secure all three points. Lincoln have looked dangerous going forward recently. Michael Skubala's side come into this fixture on the back of an impressive 4-1 home win against Burnley, so they’ll be confident heading into this one.
Birmingham have also enjoyed a decent run of form, but they suffered a defeat against Cardiff last weekend. The Blues have been involved in several close matches away from home, and I think they could find things difficult against Lincoln. With the home advantage, I can see Lincoln coming out on top in this one.
Sheffield Utd face Wrexham, and both teams to score looks like a good option. The Blades have had a mixed start to the season, winning four of their opening 12 Championship matches. They drew 1-1 against Derby County last weekend, with Patrick Bamford getting on the scoresheet.
Wrexham haven't been in particularly good form themselves, winning just three league matches. Phil Parkinson's side suffered a 2-0 defeat against Blackburn Rovers last time out, although they have scored 15 goals in their opening 12.
Both sides have struggled defensively, with Sheffield United conceding 15 goals and Wrexham 18. The visitors have also won their previous two meetings against the Blades, and I think both teams to score looks like a good option.
