EFL League One betting tipster Louie Truman has given his betting predictions for League One fixtures, along with League One betting odds and some of the best betting bonuses for League One football. There are just ten fixtures this Saturday, due to the EFL Trophy final.
Cardiff are sitting in second, 12 points behind league leaders Lincoln. The Bluebirds have dropped to second after a difficult spell of form; Barry-Murphy's side have won just one of their last five, which came against Exeter. Bolton are sitting in fourth, and they’ve also struggled recently, with just one win in their last five. When looking at recent meetings, Cardiff and Bolton have not drawn any of their last eight meetings.
Betting Tip: Both Teams to Score – 12/25 - BetMGM
Lincoln have been excellent this season, the Imps have officially been promoted to the Championship, and Michael Skubala’s side come into this fixture on the back of four wins from their last five. Lincoln have the best defensive record in the league, with 17 clean sheets. Leyton Orient are sitting in 15th; the O’s will aim to bounce back from a 2-1 home win against Huddersfield. Orient conceded in the 16th minute of stoppage time.
Betting Tip: Both Teams Not to Score – 4/5 - Betfred
Plymouth have shown excellent form in recent fixtures, Argyle have won three of their last four, and Tom Cleverley’s side put three past Barnsley in their recent fixture; Owen Oseni scored a brace. Plymouth have been finding the back of the net consistently; they’ve scored ten goals in their last five. Exeter are just inside the relegation zone, but the Grecians managed to secure three points against Doncaster last time out.
Betting Tip: Plymouth Win – 8/15 - Star Sports
Blackpool have had a difficult campaign; the Seasiders are just one place above the relegation zone. However, Ian Evatt’s side have shown better form in recent fixtures, winning three of their last five. Evatt will aim for his side to secure three points in their aim for safety. Under the management of Luke Williams, Peterborough have struggled to gain consistency; Boro have secured five points from their last five.
Betting Tip: Under 2.5 Goals – 11/8 - BetMGM
Considering Bradford gained promotion from League Two last season, the Bantams are third and will aim to achieve promotion to the Championship. Graham Alexander’s side comes into this fixture on the back of consecutive wins against Northampton and Wycombe. Stevenage are just inside the play-offs, and they will look to build on a recent 1-0 home win against Blackpool. After spending much of the early season in the top four, slipping out of those spots will be a frustration.
Betting Tip: Bradford Win – 23/20 - Betfred
Burton are just two places above the relegation zone; the Brewers will look to build on recent draws against Barnsley and Mansfield. Gary Bowyer’s side have scored four goals in their last five, Burton have a strong record against Wimbledon, and they haven’t lost to the Dons in their last nine meetings. AFC Wimbledon are sitting in 16th with 14 wins, 8 draws and 19 losses. Johnnie Jackson’s side have lost their last three, and they haven’t found the back of the net during this run.
Betting Tip: Under 2.5 Goals – 8/11 - Star Sports
Doncaster are just four places above the relegation zone; Rovers have been poor in their last two, losing both and conceding five goals. However, Doncaster won two in a row prior to the losses. Reading are just two places outside the play-off places; the Royals have scored seven goals in their last five, and they haven’t lost to Doncaster in their last seven games.
Betting Tip: Reading Win – 5/2 - BetMGM
After a difficult run, Huddersfield dropped outside of the play-offs. The Terriers have won just one of their last five, which came in their recent outing away at Leyton Orient; Ryan Ledson scored the winner in the 106th minute. Wycombe have dropped to 11th after a difficult spell of form; Wanderers have lost their last two, conceding five goals.
Betting Tip: Draw – 5/2 - Betfred
The South Yorkshire derby takes place on Saturday. Rotherham are just three places above bottom, and United are without a win in their last five. The Millers are without a goal in their last four, and they’re 11 points from safety. Barnsley are also without a win in their last five, and they conceded three goals in their recent outing.
Betting Tip: Under 2.5 Goals – 21/20 - Star Sports
Wigan are just three places above the relegation zone, and the Latics will aim to build some momentum after securing a 3-1 away win against Northampton. Wigan have struggled this season due to inconsistent results, a lack of goals, and a mid-season managerial change. Mansfield are sitting in 12th; the Stags are undefeated in their last five.
Betting Tip: Wigan Win – 7/5 - BetMGM
