EFL LEAGUE TWO BETTING TIPS: PREDICTIONS & BEST BETS DECEMBER 19TH – 20TH 2025

BARROW VS CHELTENHAM

Both sides are on 21 points, Barrow are currently 18th, and Cheltenham are just one place below in 19th. The Robins come into this fixture with better form, securing two wins against Bristol Rovers and Swindon in their last five. Steve Cotterill’s side managed to keep clean sheets in both of these games. By contrast, Barrow have only picked up two points from their last five.

CAMBRIDGE VS ACCRINGTON

After relegation last season, many would expect The U’s to be in contention for promotion to go straight back up. Neil Harris’ side are currently 9th, just one point away from a play-off place. His side has been excellent at the Abbey Stadium, The U’s are ranked 2nd at home. Accrington are 17th in the table and come into this fixture with a good spell of form. CREWE VS BRISTOL ROVERS

Crewe are just one place outside of a play-off position, and they managed an impressive 4-1 away win against Tranmere in their last outing. Goals came from Emre Tezgel, Tommi O’Reilly, and Max Sanders, who scored a brace. Bristol Rovers are currently in the relegation zone in 23rd, and they’ve lost their last five, conceding 12 goals.

BROMLEY VS GRIMSBY

Bromley are currently fourth and have won four of their last five. A win for Andy Woodman’s side could potentially take them into an automatic promotion place. The Mariners had a great start to the season; they knocked Man Utd out of the Carabao cup and looked like play-off place contenders. However, Town have dropped off in recent outings; they’re currently 14th and have only managed two points from their last five.

NOTTS COUNTY VS WALSALL

Notts County are currently second, two points behind league leaders Walsall. The Magpies have won their last two against MK Dons and Grimsby. Martin Paterson’s side will be looking to secure three points, so they can look to close the gap between the league leaders. Walsall have won three out of their last four; Mat Sadler’s side will be looking to continue this momentum after being in the same position last season, when they dropped off and failed to gain promotion to League One.

BARNET VS SALFORD

Barnet have had a mixed run in League Two recently. The Bees have secured six points from their last five; They’ve shown flashes of attacking promise but have struggled to maintain consistency, particularly against teams that press high. Salford are currently sixth and haven’t lost in their last three. They come into this fixture on the back of an impressive 4-3 home win against Colchester, Luke Garbutt scored a 92nd-minute winner.

HARROGATE vs MK DONS

Harrogate are currently just one place above the relegation zone in 22nd, the Sulphurites are winless in their last five and will be looking to gain points, which will move them further up the table.
