EFL LEAGUE TWO BETTING TIPS: PREDICTIONS & BEST BETS JANUARY 1ST 2026

BARNET VS CRAWLEY 

The Bees are currently mid-table and beat Bristol Rovers 2-0 in their recent fixture; Adam Senior and Ryan Glover were the goal scorers. Barnet are just six points away from a play-off place, so they’ll be looking to secure important points. On the other hand, Crawley are 20th in the table and just two points clear of the relegation zone.

BARROW VS SALFORD

Barrow are sitting in 19th and have a poor record at Holker Street with only two wins from eleven home games. However, the Bluebirds won last Monday, 3-1 at Tranmere. Salford are 5th in the table; a play-off place looks like a real possibility for Karl Robinson’s side. The Ammies have been on a brilliant run; they haven’t lost in their last six outings.

BROMLEY VS NEWPORT

League leaders Bromley are two points clear at the top; the Ravens have won their last five with 12 goals scored. Michael Cheek was brilliant in his last fixture, when he scored a hat-trick against Crawley. They face Newport, who moved above Harrogate in 23rd after a 2-0 win against Crewe.

CAMBRIDGE VS WALSALL

Cambridge are in 8th, just one place outside the relegation zone. The U’s have been great recently; their last league loss came against Notts County at the end of October. Walsall have been league leaders for the majority of the season, but they’ve dropped off in recent fixtures, with just two wins from their last five. The Saddlers are currently third and come into this fixture on the back of a 2-1 home loss against Oldham. Kian Harratt scored the winner in the 96th minute.

COLCHESTER VS MK DONS

Colchester are currently 10th and have won only one of their last five, which came in an impressive 4-1 home win against Newport. Danny Cowley’s side will be looking to build on their last two outings, which both ended in draws. HARROGATE VS TRANMERE

Harrogate have dropped to 24th after three consecutive losses. However, the Sulphurites are just one point away from safety, which shows how close it is at the bottom of the table. Tranmere managed to secure a 1-0 win against Fleetwood on Boxing Day, but lost 3-1 at home to Barrow on Monday.

NOTTS COUNTY VS ACCRINGTON

The Magpies are 6th and have only lost one of their last five, which came against Chesterfield. The Spireites lost 1-0 against Cambridge on Monday, so they’ll be looking to bounce back with a result against Oldham.

SHREWSBURY VS BRISTOL ROVERS

Both teams have had a difficult start to the current campaign; Shrewsbury are 21st, and Bristol Rovers are just below them in 22nd. Either team will be desperate for three points to move further up the table, but I can see it being a low-scoring game.
