Louie Truman has his League Two betting predictions for this weekend, along with League Two Betting odds and some League Two betting bonuses.
The Gills will be looking to regain momentum after a mixed set of results in recent outings. Gareth Ainsworth’s side have had a great start; they’re currently just inside the play-off places in 7th. Despite this, Barnet are currently 11th, which is just a four-point difference, which shows how close the League Two table is at the top. Both sides have the possibility of promotion this season and will be looking to secure three points.
Betting Tip: Draw – 23/10 - Spreadex
Harrogate Town have collected 15 points and currently sit 22nd in the table. In their most recent outing, Simon Weaver’s side earned a 1-1 draw against Notts County. Walsall currently have 29 points and sits in 2nd position. In their last game, Mat Sadler's team lost 0-2 against Colchester. Last season, the Saddlers had an excellent start, but dropped off and didn’t achieve promotion. Fans will be worried that the same could be repeated this season. Walsall were in top spot a couple of weeks ago, but they’ve only secured four points from their last five, which has taken them to second.
Betting Tip: Both Teams Not To Score – 4/5 – QuickBet
Barrow sits 17th in the table with 19 points. Andy Whing’s side fell to a 2–1 defeat against Bromley in their most recent outing. Cambridge United are currently 12th with 23 points. Neil Harris’s team played out a 0–0 draw with Barnet in their latest fixture. The U’s will be aiming to secure a play-off place, but they haven’t managed to secure a win from home in their last eight consecutive away games.
Betting Tip: Barrow Win/Draw – 4/7 – PricedUp
Bromley are currently 5th with 27 points. They have been excellent in home fixtures, only losing once in their last eight at Hayes Lane. Michael Cheek has scored eight goals this season, which is helping drive hopes of a play-off push under Andy Woodman. Salford are just behind in 9th place, with eight wins, two draws and six losses. Karl Robinson’s side have had difficulty on the road, with only two wins in their recent eight away fixtures.
Betting Tip: Bromley Win/Draw – 3/8 – Betway
Cheltenham are currently 23rd and will be looking to climb out of the relegation places. They come into this fixture on the back of two losses. Although Steve Cotterill has injected some optimism into Gloucestershire, the absence of Hutchinson for this match could hinder their bid to climb out of the relegation zone. The midfielder has been directly involved in almost half of the team’s goals this season.
Bristol Rovers will look to return to winning ways when they travel to Cheltenham Town. The Pirates have endured a mixed November, impressing in cup competitions but finding league form harder to come by. Rovers defeated Bromley in the Emirates FA Cup and Plymouth Argyle in the Vertu Trophy, yet suffered League Two defeats to Gillingham and Accrington Stanley.
Betting Tip: Under 2.5 Goals – 3/4 – BetMGM
Accrington sit just two places above Crawley in the table, though both sides have lost more matches than they’ve won this season. The hosts occupy 20th position with four wins, four draws and eight losses, while Accrington are 18th with four wins, five draws and seven losses. Crawley, however, has claimed back-to-back League Two home wins, so momentum currently favours the home side.
Betting Tip: Crawley Win – 21/20 – Spreadex
Crewe boasts the seventh-best home record in the league, with five wins and three defeats, and no draws. The only teams to claim league victories at Gresty Road this season are Swindon, Barnet, and Bromley. They also suffered a home defeat to Doncaster Rovers in the FA Cup. A completely different line-up, competition, and match, but Chesterfield will be eager to put in a stronger performance than on their previous visit. The Spireites were heavily beaten 7-1 here in early September in the EFL Trophy.
Betting Tip: Both Teams To Score – 5/7 – QuickBet
Fleetwood head into this fixture aiming to extend their strong run at Highbury, after a hard-fought 1–1 home draw with Swindon last weekend. Wild’s side displayed real character to earn a point, continuing their positive home form and keeping confidence high. Shrewsbury have been much better in recent fixtures, with three wins in their last five, which were against Cambridge, Crawley and Newport.
Betting Tip: Fleetwood Win – 11/10 – PricedUp
Notts County return to home soil on the back of a solid run of results, highlighting their growing momentum in League Two. Colchester, meanwhile, have been more inconsistent, showing glimpses of control in away games but still struggling for consistency. A win for the Magpies could see them move up to the automatic promotion places.
Betting Tip: Notts County Win – 11/10 - BetMGM
Oldham Athletic sit 15th in the table with 20 points. In their most recent match, Micky Mellon’s side played out a 0-0 draw with Crewe Alexandra. Newport County have accumulated 11 points this season, leaving them at the bottom of the league. In their most recent outing, Christian Fuchs’s side were narrowly defeated 1-0 by Shrewsbury Town. Head-to-head fixtures are evenly balanced, with both sides having four wins each and one draw in their last nine meetings.
Betting Tip: Under 2.5 Goals – BetMGM
League Two leaders Swindon Town host Grimsby Town at the County Ground on Saturday, with both sides aiming for promotion. Ian Holloway’s Robins are in strong form at the top, but David Artell’s Mariners remain in the hunt in a tightly contested campaign. Swindon are currently top of the table with 30 points from 16 games, just one ahead of Walsall. Grimsby sit tenth with 25 points from 16 matches, five points behind the leaders.
Betting Tip: Over 2.5 Goals – 3/4 – Betway
Tranmere are currently 16th, only five points away from the relegation zone. They face an in-form MK Dons side who are currently 3rd. Dons manager Paul Warne has implemented a high-press, high-tempo style with wide overloads, driving MK Dons’ promotion push. Dons have also claimed two wins and two draws in the last four encounters between the teams.
Betting Tip: MK Dons Win – 13/10 – QuickBet
