Louie Truman has his League Two betting predictions for this weekend, along with League Two betting odds and some League Two betting bonuses.
Accrington finished just a few places above the relegation zone last season, so they would have hoped for a more settled campaign this time around, but so far they appear to be repeating many of the same mistakes. Stanley are currently 20th, with three wins, five draws and seven losses. For the travelling side, Bristol Rovers ended last season one place below Stanley, and although they opened this campaign brightly, their momentum has stalled following five straight league defeats.
Betting Tip: Draw – 5/2 – QuickBet
The Ravens have shown balance and precision in the final third in recent outings. Their 2–0 win at Colchester highlighted both their composure in possession and their clinical edge, building on a strong home performance against MK Dons, which they won 2-1. Barrow has shown better quality in recent fixtures, scoring in six consecutive games, but they have struggled defensively; both of their last two outings finished as 2-2 draws.
Betting Tip: Barrow/Draw – EVS – BetMGM
After four years in League One, Cambridge United are back in League Two, aiming for an immediate return following last season’s relegation. After a difficult October with defeats to Barnet and Notts County, they’ve started November unbeaten in three games, including a goalless draw with Salford last weekend. Barnet have returned to the Football League and are determined to be more than just participants in League Two. They’re currently one place above Cambridge in the league, and they’ll be looking to secure all three points on Saturday to keep their play-off hopes alive.
Betting Tip: Barnet To Score The 1st Goal – 21/20 – PricedUp
Fleetwood have been strong at home, securing 2–1 wins over Barnet and Accrington in their last two Highbury matches. Their attack is in good form, scoring in each of their past five games. Ian Holloway’s Swindon come into Saturday’s fixture having won their last three games in all competitions, starting with an FA Cup win over Rotherham United, followed by a home League victory against Tranmere, and rounded off by Tuesday’s triumph over MK Dons in the Vertu Trophy. Heading into this fixture, Swindon sit level on points with Walsall in second place. A win in Lancashire would secure their spot and could even lift them to the top of the table. The Robins have won the last three meetings between the two sides.
Betting Tip: Swindon Win – 17/10 – Betway
Grimsby Town have struggled recently, losing two of their last four League Two games. However, the Mariners have been brilliant at Blundell Park this season, including a 7-1 win over Cheltenham. Their home attack has been strong, scoring regularly and creating quality chances. Chesterfield are great in attack but vulnerable defensively. They’ve scored in each of their last 10 games across all competitions, yet have conceded in seven.
Betting Tip: Both Teams To Score – 4/7 – Spreadex
This looks to be an entertaining fixture, as two of the current top-five sides go head-to-head. MK Dons host Salford City, with both clubs firmly in the promotion mix. Paul Warne’s Dons have been near the top all season, while Karl Robinson’s Ammies have climbed the table with strong recent form.
Betting Tip: MK Dons To Win The First Half – 7/4 – PricedUp
Notts County sit 3rd in League Two with a strong goal difference, while Harrogate Town struggle in 21st. Notts are solid both offensively and defensively, whereas Harrogate leak goals and struggle to score. The Club’s top goal scorer, Alassana Jatta, has scored five goals in his last four games for the Magpies.
Betting Tip: Alassana Jatta To Score – 5/4 – Betway
Oldham are currently 14th with 15 games into their first League Two season since last summer’s promotion. Things are going well for Micky Mellon’s side. The Latics have won four matches but lost just as many – the same number as league leaders Walsall. Lee Bell’s Crewe are aiming for their fourth win in five games across all competitions. A win against Oldham could lift them as high as third in the table, depending on other results.
Betting Tip: Oldham/draw – 8/25 – QuickBet
Shrewsbury Town have collected 13 points so far and sit 23rd in the table. In their most recent outing, Michael Appleton’s side fell 2-1 to Northampton Town in the Vertu Trophy. Newport County have 11 points this season and sit bottom of the table in 24th. Both teams find themselves in the relegation zone and will be desperate to pick up points. A win is crucial for either side.
Betting Tip: Under 2.5 Goals – 10/13 – BetMGM
This is an important clash for both sides. Cheltenham sit just a point above the relegation zone, with Tranmere Rovers not far behind. Tranmere began the season poorly, following several years of lower-table struggles, and many expected more of the same. However, the Wirral club has started to pick up form in recent fixtures with a 2-1 win against Blackpool in the Vertu Trophy. Cheltenham struggled early in the season and looked set for a relegation battle, but they’ve recently climbed out of the drop zone. Under new boss Steve Cotterill, they’ve shown fight and spells of much better quality.
Betting Tip: Tranmere Win – 8/11 – Betway
Both sides have been inconsistent recently, making this a tricky game to predict. Walsall, with home advantage and strong form, could just edge it, sitting in the top five. Colchester have slipped with back-to-back defeats but still boast three wins in their last five League Two matches.
Betting Tip: Both Teams To Score – 9/10 – PricedUp
Gillingham hosts Crawley, that’s often been close in recent seasons. Both teams have mixed form: Gillingham play structured, cautious football, while Crawley rely on intensity and quick attacks. Gillingham’s form continues to be inconsistent, especially going forward. Their 1-0 win at Bristol Rovers ended a three-game winless run and provided a timely boost. Crawley have shown attacking promise recently but remain inconsistent away from home. They arrive on the back of a 2-1 home win over Fleetwood, following a 4-0 victory against Bristol Rovers, though their 3-0 FA Cup defeat to Boreham Wood highlights defensive vulnerabilities.
Betting Tip: Draw – 11/4 - Spreadex
