England face Andorra at Villa Park on Saturday evening, hoping to put in a better performance than they managed in the reverse fixture. Thomas Tuchel's side were only able to beat Andorra 1-0 at a neutral venue thanks to Harry Kane's second half strike - and fans will expect much more this weekend.
After losing 3-1 against Senegal at the City Ground, Thomas Tuchel has plenty to do in order to convince the England fans he is the right man for the job. He won't be able to manage that against Andorra, but another negative display will only anger those that aren't convinced.
Although their 1-0 win against Andorra was rather poor, it did come at the end of the season, and players were vocal about the sheer volume of games they had already played prior to this match.
But they won't have that excuse this time round, and a big win is expected. It is clear, however, that fans want to see new faces and a more attacking style of play. If Tuchel doesn't produce a convincing performance, it'll be highly concerning.
Andorra have only won three games since 2022. Two came against Liechtenstein, while the other was against San Marino last year. However, since that victory, Andorra's big defeats have - kind of - dried up a little.
A draw vs Malta (0-0) and narrows 1-0 defeats against Moldova, Latvia and England are a small step in the right direction. However, both Albania and Serbia put three past them - and if they concede early, they can be vulnerable.
But as they showed against England, their rigid five at the back strategy can be effective for long periods, and certainly frustrate their opponents.
As mentioned, England were only able to win 1-0 back in June, but that was their seventh consecutive win against Andorra - who have yet to score against the Three Lions. They faced off twice in 2021, where England ran out 9-0 winners on aggregate. A similar 4/5-0 scoreline is expected at Villa Park.
With Thomas Tuchel yet to win everyone over, this is an opportunity to let his team be more expressive and score more than they did against Andorra in Barcelona. But will they? Let's take a closer look at the betting.
Call me mad, but gone are the days where England truly run riot, against anyone.
From their last 30 matches, England have only scored more than four on two occasions. One came against North Macedonia at Wembley back in 2023 (7-0) and more recently Ireland in 2024 (5-0). However, that match was 0-0 until the 53rd minute - and Ireland had ten men from the 50th.
Their three World Cup qualifiers to date may have seen them win all three to nil - but a 2-0 win over Albania was followed up with a 3-0 win against Latvia at Wembley - where England were only 1-0 up until the 68th minute. Eight shots on target against Latvia - across 90 minutes - isn't good enough.
And then their 1-0 win against Andorra was even worse. The visitors may have been given a certain level of confidence from that performance, and will once again look to frustrate England, whenever, however.
They won't be looking to counter England, or break away from their 10 men behind the ball - and sometimes that can be extremely difficult to deal with. Will the Three Lions go all out attack for the entire 90? It's unlikely, and so under 4.5 goals at odds-against stands out as a value bet.
TIP: Under 4.5 goals at 11/10 with Betano.
