Fulham hopeful at home

Fulham fought back bravely to pinch a point against Palace on New Years Day, extending their unbeaten run to three matches.

Having previously won three Premier League games in a row, Marco Silva's side have an opportunity to move into the top half of the table.

All three of those wins were secured by a one goal margin, keeping three clean sheets in the progress, Fulham's best spell of the season by some distance.

At home, Fulham have won three of their last five. They fell short against Palace and Man City, but scoring certainly hasn't been an issue with 10 in those games, averaging two per match.

Their only other defeat at Craven Cottage was a narrow 1-0 loss vs league leaders Arsenal - Fulham are certainly no mugs at home.

Liverpool looking to bounce back

Liverpool's four match winning streak came to and end on New Years Day with a disappointing 0-0 draw against Leeds at home.

However, Leeds have drastically improved in recent weeks, and perhaps the absence of Mohammed Salah played a part despite his dip in form this season.

Still, Liverpool had previously beaten Inter Milan, Brighton, Spurs and Wolves, lifting them above Chelsea and into 4th place.

Without a defeat since the end of November, Arne Slot's side have rejuvenated themselves and are proving to be much more difficult to break down. But can they return to winning ways on Sunday? Craven Cottage has been a difficult destination for them in recent times.

Fulham vs Liverpool H2H

A flurry of first half goals saw Fulham beat Liverpool last season for the first time since 2021. It was also the Cottagers first home win against Liverpool since 2011, having failed to beat them in seven previous attempts.

However, Liverpool have only won one of their last five trips to Craven Cottage, drawing three in the process and conceding in all five of those matches.

With both Fulham and Liverpool in good form over the festive period, Sunday's match looks a difficult one to call. Nevertheless, Nathan Joyes has analysed the Premier League odds for this match and has put forward his best selection.

Craven Cottage to deliver

Fulham (14/5 with Betfred) have been in fine form of late and head into this match having scored in each of their last five home matches.

Although they have secured clean sheets against Forest and West Ham, Liverpool (10/11 with Betano) will be a completely different test for the Cottagers.

At home, Fulham shipped in five against Man City before two against Palace, and with Liverpool arriving having scored eight from their last four away matches, this should be a far more open game than what we saw at Anfield on Thursday.

Both teams to score has landed in this fixture eight times in a row, with Fulham beating Liverpool for the first time since 2011 last season 3-2.

Liverpool have only kept one clean sheet in one of their last five away Premier League matches against a West Ham side with 10 men, and they may struggle to keep Fulham out once again.
