Getafe not delivering

Having won three of their first four matches, Getafe have dropped off massively, heading into this fixture winless in their last four games.

Defeats against Barcelona and Osasuna, either side of draws vs Alaves and Levante, are worrying results for their supporters - who won't be expecting much when Real Madrid come to town this weekend.

They remain unbeaten at home this season after three matches - only conceding two goals - but Real Oviedo, Alaves and Levante aren't anywhere near on the same level as Xavi Alonso's squad.

Their xG over the last four matches doesn't read well, averaging around 0.60 collectively - and so it may only take one or two goals from the visitors to pick up the three points.

Real Madrid making amends

After their derby day defeat, Real Madrid have reacted with two convincing wins in the Champions League and La Liga with eight goals - and they will take all the beating once again at the Coliseum.

Alonso's team have won four of their five away games this season, scoring 16 goals in the process, and although clean sheets are proving difficult for them to collect, they are simply outscoring their opponents.

Kylian Mbappe has scored in 10 straight matches for club and country - including a goal and assist vs Villarreal prior to the international break - and the Frenchman will once again be the man to watch against Getafe.

There's no real surprise to see Alonso's men priced at odds-on to win the match - nor is it a surprise to see Mbappe odds-on to score in 11 consecutive matches.

But there is another angle that catches the eye and it is one that has landed in four of their last five meetings.

Real Madrid haven't been known for their clean sheets this season. However, they have kept Espanyol and Kairat Almaty at bay - and Getafe could be added to that list.

As mentioned, Getafe's xG has been incredibly low - in fact, it's only been as high as 0.82 in recent weeks - and this may be an opportunity for Alonso's side to showcase a better defensive display.

Last time out at home, Getafe scored vs Levante but finished the match with an xG of just 0.56 - and Real Madrid will be confident of not only winning this match, but walking away with their third clean sheet of the season.
