Valencia v Mallorca
Valencia’s four-match unbeaten run in La Liga came to an end against Atletico Madrid last week, but the performance was encouraging as they competed well throughout and only lost by a narrow margin. Mallorca arrive in fair form, having picked up five points from their last three league matches.
However, Jagoba Arrasate’s side continue to struggle away from home, collecting just four points from eight trips, which makes Valencia a solid option on Friday night.

Oviedo v Celta Vigo
Oviedo have turned to a managerial change in an effort to climb out of trouble, with Guillermo Almada now in charge.
Their home form needs improvement quickly, and they face a difficult test against Celta Vigo, who have won their last four away matches.
Oviedo have failed to score in each of their last five home games, while Celta Vigo have kept four consecutive clean sheets in La Liga, making both teams to score an unlikely outcome.

Levante v Real Sociedad
Levante have struggled badly at home this season, conceding at least two goals in every match at the Estadio Ciudad de Valencia and collecting just one point as a result.
Real Sociedad have underperformed and have issues of their own, but they should still have enough quality to overcome a Levante side that continues to look short on confidence and increasingly likely to be involved in the relegation fight.

Osasuna v Alaves
Alaves’ 3-1 defeat at Barcelona last time out was the first away match this season in which they were involved in more than two goals.
Games against sides around their level have generally been tight. While Osasuna’s home matches have produced more goals overall, all three games against teams below them have finished with two goals or fewer.

Real Madrid v Sevilla
After a poor week for Xabi Alonso, which included defeats to Celta Vigo and Manchester City, Los Blancos steadied things with a 2-1 win away at Alaves last weekend.
However, not everything is settled yet. They were pushed hard by third-tier side CF Talavera in midweek, scraping through 3-2 in the Copa del Rey despite naming a strong lineup.
Sevilla have already beaten Barcelona 4-1 this season, even if that came at home, and taking them +2 on the Asian Handicap looks well within reach here.

Girona v Atletico Madrid
Atletico Madrid have put together a run of three straight wins in all competitions, which has helped steady things after damaging league defeats away at Barcelona and Bilbao.
There has been market support for them ahead of this trip to Girona, but their price looks a little short now. Girona recently held Real Madrid at home, and the +0.75 Asian Handicap provides a bit of protection if they can produce another solid performance on their own ground.

Villarreal v Barcelona
It is unusual to see over 3.5 goals priced at odds-on in a La Liga match unless there is a clear mismatch. While Barcelona are just about odds on here, a trip to Villarreal is rarely straightforward, and the goal line looks a little high.
Villarreal have conceded only four goals at home across eight matches this season and are capable of limiting Barcelona’s attack. A lively game is still likely, but under 3.5 goals at odds against is hard to pass up.

Elche’s home form has played a big part in their solid position after 16 La Liga games, with the hosts sitting 11th in the table. They have kept clean sheets in half of their matches at the Estadio Martínez Valero, which sets them up well against Rayo Vallecano.
The visitors have scored in fewer than half of their away games, with both teams to score landing only twice in nine trips, so opposing that market makes sense here.

Four defeats in their last five matches have undone much of Getafe’s positive early-season work, with the visitors slipping down to 10th place.

Betis have been reliable in these spots and look a sensible bet at the Villamarin Stadium.

Athletic Club v Espanyol
With four clean sheets from seven away matches, highlighted by recent 1-0 victories at Getafe and Celta Vigo, Espanyol look well-equipped to make life difficult for Athletic Bilbao in this one.
Athletic’s last four home games have all seen both teams to score fail to land, and given Espanyol’s recent defensive record, there is a good chance that pattern continues here.
