A platform to build on

It hasn't - and won't - be easy for Leeds this season but they head into their match against Spurs in a confident mood. After brushing Wolves aside in their own back yard, Daniel Farke's side were moments away from a huge win against Bournemouth.

Still, four points from those matches will have pleased the fans, who now have something to build on. Throw in the fact that they are unbeaten at home since February, it's clear Elland Road isn't the easiest venue for any club in the country.

This is where Leeds' Premier League future will be decided. If they win their home games - or least don't lose them - they have every chance of surviving.

And they may just be playing Spurs at the perfect time.

Tired Tottenham to struggle?

While Leeds have only played three matches in September, Tottenham have played double that amount in a short period.

Leeds have also had a week to rest and prepare for this match, while Spurs only arrived back in London on Wednesday morning after their midweek trip to Norway.

Will fatigue be a factor?

Potentially. However, Spurs are unbeaten in their last six, and they have managed to come out of this hectic period unscathed. But they faced a tough opponent on Wednesday in the form of Bodo/Glimt, and it's yet to be seen what that has potentially taken outof their legs.

Leeds vs Tottenham H2H

Tottenham have enjoyed their recent head-to-heads against Leeds. Having won the last four, you have to go back to 2021 the last time Leeds beat the North London side.

The last time these two sides met was back in 2023 - at Elland Road - where the visitors won 4-1 thanks to goals from Harry Kane, Lucas Moura and Pedro Porro.

With Spurs managing their seventh match in little over a month, Leeds will be confident they can continue their good form. However, it would be foolish to rule the visitors out completely. Let’s look at the Premier League betting odds.

Leeds shouldn't lose too many at home this season - but there's also a case to make that this Spurs side can also be extremely dangerous.

The hosts have scored five goals in their last two outings, showing huge improvement in front of goal having only scored a penalty in their previous four Premier League matches.

But this is arguably their hardest test since losing 5-0 to Arsenal, and fans will get to see if any improvement has been made when coming up against a "top six" side.

Spurs have done well over the past five weeks - but having shipped in five goals in their last four matches - there's still plenty of work to be done.

Leeds will fancy their chances - but so will the visitors. And while the match prediction is a little more difficult, the goals market isn't.
