Liverpool face Qarabag in the Champions League requiring just one more point in order to guarantee a top eight spot. However, with Arne Slot under pressure and their 4-1 defeat against PSV fresh in their minds, the hosts can't take anything for granted.
Our football expert Nathan Joyes has analysed the Champions League odds and provided his best bet prediction for the match.
A point should be enough to see Liverpool over the line but Arne Slot knows he needs to start winning football matches if he is to keep his job.
With just two wins in their last five matches - one of those against Barnsley in the FA Cup - Slot heads into this match on the back of a 3-2 defeat against Bournemouth. The fanbase are divided, but Slot's time is running out.
At home, Liverpool are unbeaten in six but their last Champions League match at Anfield saw PSV come away with a 4-1 victory. With Joe Gomez added to the growing list of injuries, Slot will have to re-jig his side once more on Wednesday evening.
Qarabag were expected to be down and out by the final round but they themselves may only need a point to remain in the competition.
Having beaten Benfica in Portugal and held Chelsea at home, it has been a positive campaign for the Azerbaijan champions who head to Anfield full of hope and optimism.
However, since their victory against Benfica, Qarabag have lost their other two away matches against Athletic Bilbao and Napoli. Yet with neither scoreline getting out of hand, the visitors certainly know how to make life difficult.
With wins over Frankfurt, Copenhagen and Benfica, Qarabag are certainly no pushovers - and with the pressure on the hosts, that could play into their hands.
This is the first ever meeting between Liverpool and Qarabag, although the visitors do not have a good record against English opposition. However, despite losing their first seven meetings against English clubs, they held Chelsea to a 2-2 draw at home earlier in the campaign.
With Liverpool desperate to put on a good performance and victory for their fans, it's no surprise to see Arne Slot's side as the clear favourites - but will it be as easy as the odds suggest? Nathan Joyes provides his Champions League best bet for the match below.
Liverpool (1/8 with Betfred) will no doubt be added to many "banker accumulators" on the day but their price or handicap line doesn't appeal. Arne Slot's side may well make a statement win at some point - and that could come against Qarabag (20/1 with Betano) - but there's an alternative angle that catches the eye.
With Liverpool struggling to keep clean sheets - and having conceded more than they have scored at home in the Champions League - the visitors to join them on the scoresheet appeals.
Qarabag are also fighting for a spot in the next round and clearly haven't been intimidated against anyone they have faced in this competition.
In fact, they've scored against six of their seven teams faced - only failing to score in Italy vs Napoli despite having 11 shots. But Qarabag have scored two+ goals vs Chelsea, Benfica, Copenhagen, Frankfurt and Ajax - and Liverpool could be added to that list.
With Endo likely to partner Virgil van Dijk at the back, Qarabag have a chance to score at Anfield.
