Man City face Galatasaray at the Etihad knowing they must win if they are to have any chance of qualifying inside the top eight. Their opponents, however, still haven't secured a top 24 spot, and may need at least a point in order to achieve that.

Man City must deliver

Pep Guardiola’s side know there’s little room for error against Galatasaray.

Man City’s place is on the line after their shock defeat to Bodo/Glimt, meaning a positive result here is required if they are to secure automatic progression into the last 16 - rather than facing an unnecessary play-off round.

There has been times during their campaign where they have looked like contenders to win their second Champions League title - including a 2-1 win at Real Madrid - but inconsistency and defensive lapses have undermined their chances.

However, they have won two of their three home matches - only falling short against Bayer Leverkusen with a heavily rotated side. Guardiola can't afford to do that this time round.

Galatasaray's away from a concern

Galatasaray head to Manchester knowing that they too have plenty at stake in this final fixture.

Although the Turkish champions sit just outside the automatic qualification places, they will be looking over their shoulders with the likes of Napoli and Copenhagen capable of leapfrogging them if Man City come out on top.

However, it's clear that Okan Buruk’s side have shown resilience in Europe this season, grinding out results including a recent draw with Atlético Madrid.

With Victor Osimhen leading the line - who comes into this having scored in his last league match - the visitors will be hopeful of an upset.

Surprisingly, these two sides have never met each other before. You have to go back to 2014 the last time an English club (Arsenal) beat Galatasaray - who beat Liverpool on home soil earlier in the campaign.

Foden to fire for Man City

Man City (2/9 with Betfred) recorded comfortable wins against Napoli and Dortmund earlier in the campaign at the Etihad, but their decision to rotate heavily against Bayer Leverkusen has put them in a delicate situation.

Galatasaray (11/1 with Betano) certainly aren't fancied by the bookmakers who have suffered two defeats from their three away matches - including a 5-1 battering against Frankfurt.

Their last away match in the Champions League saw them lose 1-0 against Monaco, but the hosts also missed a penalty on that occasion and largely dominated the match finishing with a 3.68xG.

And so it's almost expected that Man City sign off their group stage campaign in style.

Erling Haaland is way too short to back to score anytime at 1/3, but instead attention turns to Phil Foden, who scored a brace against Dortmund, and he may find pockets of space once more.

The hosts short price isn't appealing either, and at odds-against, Foden can add to his Champions League tally against a less than convincing defence.
