Man United bounced back with a superb victory against Crystal Palace and now return to Old Trafford hoping to brush West Ham to one side. A win could see Ruben Amorim's side climb into the Champions League positions.
Our very own Premier League expert Nathan Joyes provides us with his best bet for this clash.
After a disappointing 1-0 win against Everton despite having the extra man for over 80 minutes, Man United recorded an excellent win at Selhurst Park.
Yet after conceding a first half penalty, second half strikes from Joshua Zirkzee and Mason Mount secured an important away win - and Palace's first Premier League defeat at home.
At home, Man United had won four in a row before defeat vs Everton - and perhaps the low block that David Moyes implemented made life more difficult than Amorim had planned for.
If the Red Devils can start stringing wins together - both home and away - they will have a solid chance of returning to the Champions League next season.
West Ham head to Old Trafford on the back of a home defeat against Liverpool. Having thrown away a 2-0 lead to draw against Bournemouth, West Ham have now shipped in two goals in their last three matches.
This is a concern - especially when you throw in their away form. The Hammers have struggled away from home, winning just once this season against Nottingham Forest back in August.
Since, however, two draws and two defeats have followed, including a 2-1 loss against relegation rivals Leeds in October.
And to make matters worse, West Ham will head north without Lucas Paqueta, who was sent off against Liverpool after receiving two yellows.
Last season it was West Ham who prevailed in both matches, winning 2-1 at home before beating them 2-0 at Old Trafford in round 36. Goals from Tomas Soucek and Jarrod Bowen in either half was enough to record back-to-back wins over Man United for the first time since 2007.
With Man United immediately returning to winning ways and West Ham struggling to secure a win on the road, Amorim's side can continue to climb up the table and fight for a Champions League spot.
Nathan Joyes has taken a look at the Premier League betting for this match and is siding with the hosts to get the job done.
Man United (4/11 with Betfred) are expected to make it back-to-back wins and it is difficult to oppose that considering West Ham's (15/2) with Betano) poor performances on their travels.
The Everton result was frustrating for Amorim, but perhaps a match which didn't see a red card would have suited his side more. Still, they picked up the three points at Selhurst Park when not many expected them to.
And now they have yet another chance to build on that - and so they should. Aside from the Everton blip, Man United have only lost against league leaders Arsenal on the opening day of the season.
Since, four victories have followed scoring 11 goals within those matches. And while Joshua Zirkzee has had to be patient and not really play his part in those wins, he's been one of their better players over the last two games.
Featuring for 90 minutes across both, the tall forward tested Jordan Pickford twice before scoring against Palace, and he can once again cause chaos from set pieces and crosses. He might not score, but he's certainly one to trouble West Ham's backline if he continues his good form - and a shot on target certainly boosts Man United's price.
TIP: Man United to win and Joshua Zirkzee shot on target at 11/8 with BetMGM.
