Napoli must beat Chelsea to break into the top 24 while a win will guarantee a top eight spot for the English side. Can the Italians get it right on the night or will the visitors finally secure their first away win in the Champions League?
Our football tipster Nathan Joyes has looked at the Champions League odds and puts forward his match preview and best bet for the match.
It has been a poor Champions League campaign for Napoli who will need not only to beat Chelsea but for other results to go their way in order to break into the top 24.
A draw on the road last time out against Copenhagen - who had 10 men for 65 minutes - has put them in this awkward position.
At home, however, Napoli have been strong. Wins against Qarabag and Sporting - with a 0-0 draw with Frankfurt sandwiched in between - reads rather well.
Scott McTominay has been responsible for four of their seven goals and the Scottish midfielder will once again play a vital role on Wednesday evening.
Chelsea, like Napoli, have largely relied on home form in order to pick up points. On their travels is where they have struggled. In fact, they have yet to win.
A 3-1 defeat against Bayern was perhaps expected, although a 2-1 loss against Atalanta wasn't - and their 2-2 draw with Qarabag definitely was not on the cards.
Fortunately, Chelsea have won all four home matches which leaves them in 8th spot - but with eight teams on 13 points - the visitors must improve on their poor record away to Italians in order to maintain their spot.
Whether they can do that is a major concern. Away form in the Premier League hasn't been an issue, but against contrasting styles in Europe have been - and that could catch Chelsea out once more.
Chelsea's only trip to Naples came back in 2012 where they lost 3-1 on the night. Their record away to Italian opposition in European away games doesn't read well, having lost seven of their nine to date (W1 D1).
With Napoli superior at home and Chelsea incapable of picking up points on their travels, the Italians may be good value to put their name in the hat for the next round. Nathan Joyes provides his Champions League best bet for the match below.
Napoli (9/4 with Betfred) must take advantage of Chelsea's (6/5 with Betano) poor away form in not only the Champions League but as a whole.
Chelsea have already lost against Italian opposition on the road in this competition, falling short against Atalanta.
And this is where Napoli can strike. At home, they've been excellent, and with Scott McTominay firing in four goals in this competition, he will once again potentially be the answer.
Napoli have also only conceded one at home and while Chelsea have scored four, two came against Qarabag, an opponent not quite on the same level as the Italians.
And so the hosts draw no bet price appeals. If they fail to beat Chelsea, your stake is refunded. If they win the match, we profit with an enticing looking price.
TIP: Napoli draw no bet at 5/4 with BetMGM.
