PREMIER LEAGUE BETTING TIPS AND PREDICTIONS 18th - 20th APRIL 2026

Ten Premier League fixtures take place this weekend - starting on Friday night -  and so our Premier League expert Nathan Joyes is back to provide his best bets across all of those matches.

BRENTFORD VS FULHAM

Winless in four but also unbeaten in four, Brentford face their London based rivals looking to win their first Premier League match since February.

In two recent draws against Everton and Wolves they led and threw away leads - which isn't ideal if they are to secure a European spot.

Fulham are failing to fire on all cylinders with just one win in five - and although the Bees aren't bulletproof, they are capable with Igor Thiago leading the line once again. Back the hosts to score two again - without having to win - appears to be the best bet.

LEEDS VS WOLVES

Leeds took a huge step towards survival with 2-1 win against Man United at Old Trafford earlier in the week. But it'll all be for nothing if they fail to beat Wolves.

However, Daniel Farke's team are now five games unbeaten across all competitions and more importantly six points above the drop zone. If they can extend that to nine with six rounds to go, Leeds will almost be there.

Wolves head to Elland Road on the back of a 4-0 battering against West Ham and they are just two defeats away from officially confirming their relegation.

Leeds are in form and fighting, while Wolves are limping towards the line. Home win.

NEWCASTLE VS BOURNEMOUTH

It's now or never for Newcastle if they want to return to European football next season. However, after two defeats in a row against Sunderland and Crystal Palace, their campaign appears to be ending sooner than they would have liked.

The Cherries, who are three points above Eddie Howe's side, are unbeaten in 12, having only lost once in 2026 and that came against league leaders Arsenal.

These sides met in the FA Cup back in January where Newcastle progressed on penalties - although the match finished 2-2 inside 90 minutes. With so much on the line, and with the hosts having little choice but to go for the win, this game should open up and produce goals once more.

SPURS VS BRIGHTON

Yet another defeat last weekend saw Spurs fall into the bottom three - and they are running out of time and chances to save their Premier League status.

They haven't won in the Premier League since the 28th December - which means zero wins in 2026 - and now face a Brighton side looking to secure a European spot next season.

The Seagulls have picked up 12 points from their last five matches - scoring seven while only conceding three. Only Arsenal have better form in this period.

Brighton have won three of the last five head-to-heads and that can extend at a generous price with so much pressure on Spurs to deliver - and so far, they are doing everything but.

CHELSEA VS MAN UNITED

Both Chelsea and Man United head into this clash on the back of poor defeats last weekend. The hosts, however, are not in a good place. With four defeats from their last five - with a win over Port Vale sandwiched in between - Liam Rosenior has work to do.

Man United's games have been full of goals under Michael Carrick. Whether winning, drawing or losing, all of their last five had produced over 2.5 goals.

The reverse fixture also produced three goals, and with plenty at stake for both sides, this could be another wide open match with vulnerable defences once again on show.

ASTON VILLA VS SUNDERLAND

Aston Villa head into the weekend with a spring in their step after comfortably securing their Europa League semi-final spot.

However, their league form has taken a hit as a compromise and although still occupying 4th, Unai Emery's side can't afford to keep dropping points with Liverpool closing the gap.

Sunderland's away form has drastically improved in recent weeks, and head to the Midlands confident of another strong performance on the road.

With Aston Villa potentially tired after their hectic schedule, Sunderland can make a real game of it - and both teams can find the back of the net.

EVERTON VS LIVERPOOL

The Merseyside derby is another eye-catching fixture this weekend and it's the hosts that head into the match in much better form.

David Moyes' side have only lost one of their last five, beating Newcastle, Chelsea and Burnley - scoring eight goals across those three matches.

Liverpool, on the other hand, have lost four of their last five. On the road, they haven't won since the beginning of March and even that win came against 20th place Wolves.

Defeats against Galatasaray, Brighton, Man City and PSG have followed - and their arch rivals will sense a real opportunity to record a rare win.

FOREST VS BURNLEY

With just 18 points up for grabs and 12 points adrift, it's safe to say Burnley are heading back to the Championship - and that could almost be sealed at the City Ground.

Forest - although haven't won a Premier League match at home since mid December - won't have a better opportunity to end that against the Clarets on Sunday afternoon.

A 1-1 draw last time out against Aston Villa was a solid point as they fight to survive, while their 3-0 romp over Spurs will still be fresh in their minds.

If Forest don't win this, they are bang in trouble, but Burnley have only one once in the league this season - and it's unlikely they will double their tally this weekend.

MAN CITY VS ARSENAL

It's the big one. First vs second. But with the league leaders having only won one of their last five matches across all competitions, momentum is firmly with the hosts.

Pep Guardiola's side head into this encounter full of confidence. Having won their last three matches - without conceding - including a win vs Arsenal, now is the time for them to strike.

A 3-0 win at Stamford Bridge last weekend was as routine as it could have been for Man City - and with no Champions League distraction, they can use the extra days rest to their advantage and claim a huge three points.

CRYSTAL PALACE VS WEST HAM

Crystal Palace have made it to the semi-finals of the Europa Conference League and full focus will be on securing silverware with their Premier League status almost guaranteed.

West Ham, on the other hand, are still fighting for their lives and head into round 33 just two points above Spurs in 18th. But after their 4-0 demolition job over Wolves, they will be confident they have enough in the tank to pull further clear.

But the Eagles have been in much better form of late, with the 5th best record over the last five matches. Safety secured, they are playing with more freedom, and six unbeaten at home shows that.

After beating Newcastle 2-1 last time out at Selhurst Park, Palace are capable of getting on the scoresheet again - although West Ham are capable of scoring for a fourth away match from their last five.
