It's champions vs contenders in the Champions League on Tuesday as PSG welcome Bayern Munich to Parc des Princes. With both teams having won their three opening matches, something has to give in Paris - but who will come out on top?

PSG looking flawless

Champions League wins over Atalanta (4-0), Barcelona (2-1) and Leverkusen (7-2) have put PSG top of the tree after three rounds as they look to defend their crown.

This perfect start to the campaign will be tested when Bayern come to town, but they will take all the beating with three top sides struggling to get close to them so far.

With the goals being shared around the team - Nuno Mendes, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Desire Doue all on two - PSG are proving impossible to stop at present as they look to keep hold of their crown.

Back in front of their supporters, PSG will want to extend their eight match unbeaten streak across all competitions. Ilya Zabarnyi and Desire Doue will miss the match due to suspension for the former and muscle injury for the latter.

Bayern can make a statement

Since losing against PSG at the Club World Cup, Bayern have won 18 matches in a row across all competitions. Their campaign has been a little easier compared to PSG's so far, beating Chelsea, Pafos and Club Brugge - and their winning streak will be put on the line on Tuesday.

Domestically, Vincent Kompany's side have been flawless winning all nine league games, and head into this contest having beaten Leverkusen 3-0 on Saturday - where all three goals were scored inside the first half.

Harry Kane was rested for that match, coming on for the final 30 minutes, but the England forward has still scored four goals in his last five matches for Bayern - and PSG will do well to keep him quiet.

As mentioned, PSG did beat Bayern 2-0 at the Club World Cup - but that was their first victory over the Germans since 2021.

Bayern had previously beaten PSG four times in a row - keeping four clean sheets in the process.

Visitors can sneak it

PSG (11/8 with Betfred) are slight favourites - perhaps due to their home advantage - but their less than convincing league form is a concern.

Luis Enrique's side required a 94th minute winner to edge past Nice, while recent draws vs Lorient (1-1) and Strasbourg (3-3) are a little concerning. Yes, they have been electric in the Champions League, but so have Bayern.

The visitors (17/10 with Betano) have won 18 matches in a row. Kompany's side have dominated across all competitions - with Dortmund coming the close to sneaking a point when losing 2-1.

But the 2025/26 campaign - so far - has been flawless for the Germans and although they haven't faced a side of PSG's quality to date in the Champions League, this has perhaps allowed the odds to be more lenient in their favour.

Bayern can't stop scoring - have conceded just six across the Bundesliga and Champions League - and so their draw no bet price is more generous and it should be. PSG may struggle to contain Bayern's ruthless attack.
