There are six fixtures in the Scottish Premiership this weekend, with all 12 teams in the top flight in action over the weekend of Saturday 22nd to Sunday 23rd November. Football tipster Ben Smith has put up his bets and predictions for the upcoming action.
Hibernian sit third in the table despite winning only once at home in five attempts, but they have a good chance to add to their Easter Road tally on Saturday when second-bottom Dundee make the trip to Edinburgh.
Hibs won the reverse fixture on the opening weekend at Dens Park, with Kieron Bowie scoring twice.
Although the results have not always followed at home, their performances have been strong, winning the xG battle in all five matches, including the narrow 1-0 loss to Rangers.
Dundee, meanwhile, have just two league wins and remain winless away, losing four straight on the road and conceding 11 in the process. This sets up well for Hibs, who look capable of covering the -1 handicap.

Kilmarnock started the season reasonably well but have fallen away sharply, losing five straight and sliding to tenth in the table.
That run can partly be excused, given three of those games were against Rangers, Hearts and Celtic, yet the manner of several defeats was worrying. They barely threatened either of the top two, and the losses to Falkirk and Aberdeen were the type that point towards a long relegation fight if things do not improve.
Motherwell, by contrast, have been much steadier. They have lost only twice all season and have scored in every away match apart from their opener at St Mirren, which ended 0-0. Their recent record at Rugby Park is poor, but this looks a good chance to put that right.
Betting Tip: Motherwell to Win - 142/100 10bet
Dundee United have generally handled bottom-half opposition well this season. Their only defeat to a side in that bracket came at home to Kilmarnock, and even then, they created the better chances.
They have also held their own against stronger teams, going unbeaten in four away games against sides in the top five, including Falkirk. The reverse fixture in September ended 2-2, with Falkirk twice coming from behind, and that match was typical of the sort of contests Dundee United have been involved in.
The Terrors drew 2-2 with Rangers, 3-3 with Hibs, and lost 3-2 to Hearts, showing a clear pattern of open matches. With both teams regularly involved in high-scoring games, both teams to score and over 2.5 goals looks the best approach.
Betting Tip: Both Teams to Score & Over 2.5 Goals - 19/20 Betway
Rangers have responded well to Danny Rohl, winning all three league games since his arrival and giving themselves at least a chance of clawing back the 12-point deficit to Hearts.
A home meeting with Livingston is a friendly restart after the international break, with the visitors winless in the league since August 9th.
Rangers have won the last six head-to-heads, and Livingston have already suffered heavy away defeats against both Celtic and Hibs, so anything other than a home victory would be hard to imagine.
Rohl’s side have also been fast out of the blocks, scoring inside the first 15 minutes in all three league matches under him. Taking Rangers to lead at half time and full time looks the right way to play this.
Betting Tip: Rangers Half-Time/Full-Time - 4/5 Coral
Martin O’Neill has brought some stability back to Celtic after a difficult end to Brendan Rodgers’ tenure. They were comfortably second best against Midtjylland two weeks ago, but far more important has been their domestic response.
Consecutive 4-0 league wins and a League Cup semi-final victory over Rangers suggest they are moving in the right direction again.
St Mirren will make this competitive, though. They have held Hearts and Rangers to draws in Paisley and frustrated Celtic in recent times, too, earning a point at Parkhead late last season and losing only 1-0 to a late goal at the start of this campaign.
With Celtic likely to have one eye on Thursday’s trip to Feyenoord, St Mirren on the Asian handicap appeals.
Betting Tip: St Mirren +1.25 Asian Handicap - 31/40 BetMGM
Hearts have drawn two of their last three matches, giving Celtic a chance to close the gap at the top. Their dropped points at St Mirren was their first real slip on their travels this season, and even that came in a game they largely controlled, winning the xG battle and seeing a late goal ruled out.
Being held by Dundee United before the break was another minor setback, but it’s too soon to suggest a significant downturn is coming. The international pause should help them reset, and they look well placed to respond against an Aberdeen side who have taken just one point from seven matches against teams above them.
