It's 18th vs 17th on Tuesday night as relegation threatened sides West Ham and Nottingham Forest lock horns in East London. Winless in nine, the Hammers must act now if they are to save their season.
Our Premier League tipster Nathan Joyes takes a look at the odds and provides his best bet for this intriguing clash.
A fourth defeat in five has kept West Ham firmly in the relegation zone - four points adrift of their next opponents.
Three defeats in a row briefly came to an end with a 2-2 draw vs Brighton, but Nuno Santo's side swiftly returned to old habits, but this time it was more catastrophic than before.
A 3-0 loss against Wolves - their first three points of the season after 20 attempts - has called for Santo to be sacked before it's too late - if it isn't already.
With just one point from their last five matches, this midweek clash is a must win if West Ham are to salvage their season ahead of a key January transfer window.
The good news for West Ham is that their opponents aren't in form either.
In fact, far from it. A 3-1 defeat against Aston Villa extended Sean Dyche's losing streak to four matches - scoring just twice in the process.
That was also Forest's third away defeat in a row, having previously fallen short against both Everton and Fulham without scoring.
The goals have been drying up for Dyche and his route one football - with many fans not happy about his style of play.
And although it was Nuno in the dugout for Forest when these two sides last clashed, Dyche will not want to make it back-to-back defeats against relegation rivals.
Earlier in the season West Ham beat Forest 3-0 at the City Ground ending a three match losing streak against the East Midlands club. However, the Hammers have won four of their last five home games vs Forest, and they will be hoping that history sides with them once again in this crucial clash.
With both sides floundering at the wrong end of the table, their leaky defences are bound to be tested once again. Nathan Joyes has taken a look at the Premier League odds for this match and puts his best bet forward
West Ham (2/1 with Betfred) have next to no confidence heading into their biggest match of the season. Wolves at the weekend presented Santo with an opportunity to end the eight-match losing streak but instead his side were embarrassed and outplayed from the first whistle.
How can earth do they pick themselves up after a result like that within less than 72 hours? Fans want Santo out and the players don't look up to the battle. Something has to give this January.
Forest (11/8 with Betano) are favourites but backing either side to win this contest doesn't make much appeal. Having lost four of their last five, Dyche's side aren't far behind where West Ham currently are.
But both sides can't afford to sit back - especially the hosts. Will that play to Forest's strengths? Perhaps. Yet both defences can't stop shipping in goals and four of the last five meetings have produced over 2.5 goals.
Once one goals in, this game could be rather chaotic.
