Wolves are looking to end their eight match winless run and hope their fortunes change when Man United arrive at the Molineux on Monday night.
Our very own Premier League expert Nathan Joyes provides us with his best bet for this clash.
It hasn't quite been the start Rob Edwards was hoping for. Three matches, three defeats and no goals scored, Wolves have still only picked up two points from a possible 42.
Derby fans will be hoping this is the year their unwanted lowest points in Premier League history is taken away from them.
That's now eight matches in a row Wolves have lost, who's sole victory came in the EFL Cup against Everton back in September.
During the week they lost 1-0 at home to relegation rivals Nottingham Forest, where they could only manage one shot on target - and only one shot at goal in the first 45 minutes. Wolves look as though their season is already over before Christmas.
Man United head to Wolverhampton having won just one of their last five matches. After a poor defeat against 10 man Everton, Ruben Amorim's side bounced back with a solid 2-1 win away to Crystal Palace.
But inconsistency once again crept into their game when throwing away a 1-0 lead vs West Ham in the final five minutes. As a result, Man United have dropped to 8th - 11 points behind Arsenal.
On their travels, Man United have been slightly better than at home of late. With teams camping in their own half and looking to counter, Amorim has struggled tactically to break teams down at Old Trafford.
But on the road they have lost just one of their last five, beating Liverpool and Palace - and perhaps getting back on the road isn't a bad thing for the Red Devils.
Wolves completed the double over Man United last season, winning 2-0 at home before beating the Red Devils at Old Trafford 1-0 thanks to Pablo Sarabia's second half strike.
That was the second time Wolves completed back-to-back wins against Man United for the first time since 2019. However, Man United have won four of their last five trips to Molineux.
With Wolves sinking without trace, Man United are expected to go and pick up the three points.
Nathan Joyes has taken a look at the Premier League betting for this match and is siding with the hosts to get the job done.
Wolves (7/2 with Betfred) can't buy a point. In fact, they can't even buy a goal at the moment. Another defeat midweek saw them 12 points adrift at the bottom of the table and a win doesn't look forthcoming at present.
They have scored six of their seven goals at home - but having only picked up one point and conceded 17, Wolves look as though they are down and out - and aren't showing much fight either.
Man United (8/11) with Betano) look appealing at the price. Yes, they are inconsistent and are throwing points away at present, but Amorim's side should not be dropping two points against this Wolves side.
There have been glimpses throughout the season that this Man United side can produce positive performances - and results - and they will be keen to bounce back after their disappointing result vs West Ham. The price is too big considering the gulf in class and so the visitors can continue their strong away form.
